Does barrel length really matter? lets test the FPS and accuracy on a CO2 revolver. Tested with the 3 versions of the smith and wesson on co2 with 4.5 mm steel bb
Very happy to find a practical comparison of these 3; and a job well done it is. Like your site and looked at (some) of your videos. Like your presentations..clear and concise. Subbed right out of the chute. I hoped to be # 28.0 K but it didn't happen..oh well. Thanks for your work, good luck. USA.
Cool a american on my little channel 😚 welcome! Yeah i was very surprised that i could not find a video like this so i made one. I hope it gets more views
I have the Model 29, 6.5" rifled barrel, DONT BE FOOLED, the .177 rifled section is only 2.75" long, then it opens up to 6mm smooth for 2.9". Currently trying to figure out if I can dismantle it to fit a longer barrel
Actually, better results than I expected. I would like to see you do the exact same test, except using pellets in the Umarex silver shells. Of the three, the 6" is most authentic, but both the 3" and 8.5" are pretty bad ass looking....lol. Cheers from New "Yawk"....😁
Very cool video! The power of the hammer is probably regulated so that the 8 inch version doesn't develop too much power combined with the longer barrel, while it is exactly the opposite for the 3 inch. Also, have you tried the 3-hole transfer port valve upgrade on the dan wesson? The seller claims 20-60% increase in power and a user claimed 80% increase.
From what I've seen on another channel, the 2.5 inch version has this 3-holed valve pin from the factory, while the 8 inch has a 2-holed one, again, for power regulation. So swapping them, gets you the best of both worlds.
Hola amigo Nice vídeo I love them i do Have a question i really like the six and a half revolver can your recomend it to me the replica i Have Heard i'm another videos Bad comenta about the grips that OS a very cheap plastic and doesnt feel good in the hand ,is that true ? Let me know , and thanks and Best regards From Cancún riviera maya México
Hello brother! I want to buy the Dan Wesson 8 inch just like your one but In my country currently I can't find any where. But getting the similar one Black Ops 8 inch barrel 4.5mm steel version. So I am thinking to buy the Black Ops 8 inch. Can you tell me are the both guns completely similar or the Dan Wesson is more powerful because of its actual internal longer barrel?? I can tell internally the barrel inside black ops 8 inch is little bit shorter than its shown outside. May be its around 5 or 6 inch. Kindly throw some light on this comperisn.
I was actually wanting a 3" or 6" 4.5mm BB version of this one, but I couldn't find a vendor. Maybe I just didn't look enough? I'm in the U.S. What country are you in?
The 8 inch looks best on you. Hey...a man needs a long barrel, right? I have the 8 inch as well and it is a dream. Fit, finish, function all five out of five stars. The adjustable sights are easy to dial in. And when you use pellets...which you can shoot in this pistol with no problem you get tighter groups. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you for your experiment. You are a good scientist. I am glad that the results confirm what I learned about Physics. Barrel length actually matters. I also made an experiment today, to see how deep under water a 6 mm plastic BB with 0.4 Joule can still be lethal for a tomato. By the way: The 6.5 inch version suits you the best. Matching with your body height. 😅
Hm yes i should were a lab coat 😅 and this is only video on youtube with a good test with the same revolvers but different length. And shooting tomatoes under water thats new and original 🤣 and sow you are saying im to small for the 8 inch 😋
@@HappyDude1Hello! Really thats the only diference? I love this 2 models and i dont know whos better, are not a lot of diference in the 3 Julios of the smith and the 4 of the dan wesson?? Help me please, thanks!!
Very detail. Thank you
Thx
