That guitar solo gets me every time this is the perfect song to capture the somber feeling of that moment... I miss this damn show so much

Tara thought she killed a snitch and protected both her family and the club, yet all she did was break her sons heart.
This song killed me in the show. The scene of him hugging his brothers before he leaves on his bike.. Then going home to Tara on the floor. Such a powerful episode

Happy was an actual hells angel, as was Quinn. Lenny the pimp was played by sonny barger, and he was one of the founding members of the hells angels. Sutter went for authenticity and he owned it. Screw Disney forever and ever for firing him.
The saddest thing I ever saw was the moment Jax saw Tara dead in their kitchen. That painful squeal he made broke my heart into a million pieces. The greatest TV show ever made.

My Mom passed away from Parkinson's four years ago and a couple days after she passed, I stumbled upon this song and it just fit everything I was feeling. Sometimes the universe speaks to you. So now, every year on her anniversary I listen to this song. It's her song now.

But sadly this show was robbed in the emmy's. This show started the same year breaking bad did. But due to Breaking Bad's insane rising popularity, sons of anarchy was kinda left behind. But this show got so much love and critical acclaim. And also millions of fan base (Check wikipedia for number of viewers for each season). Sons of anarchy is a masterpiece. Easily besides Breaking Bad, Sopranos, The Wire and The Shield.
It's 2020, I decided to listen to this song after getting home completely wasted. I miss loving someone so much that you forget your own self love. True love makes you feel you belong, all the sadness goes away and everything makes sense. I don't miss her, I miss the feeling, because deep down I know I'll never feel it again, it was too pure to be felt again, too naive. That's what this song means to me, a love you can only feel once

SPOILER ALERT: This is the most heart- wrenching episode of SoA. Right when it seemed like Tara would be able to raise her kids, Gemma steps I and sends that plan to hell. Watching Jax walk in and hearing him just say “Babe?” Was truly sad. Watching Jax have everything he loved ripped away, his best friend, Opie. His love, Tara. And all the other brothers he ended up burying along the way. All he had was the club, and, though he truly tried his best, he drove that further down. If you rewatch the first season, where all of SoA was a giant family, with the biggest problem was dealing with the Mayans or Nords, to seeing them, turn in each other, watch them change. This show is the epitome of what can happen, when lies and deceit, is what a family is built on. Love the ones close to you.
Had my grandfather in my home for inhouse hospice, I was listening to this outside, starting a bonfire, ..he always had them...came back in and he was gone.. always think of him listening to this :'(

Shawna Brandenstein I started with season seven (stupid) and the ending still killed me. mostly because I really connected to Jax. so many similarities between us. His dad started a MC, my uncles started a MC. His dad died when he was young, mine too. the end when he says to JT "I know who you are now, I love you dad" was what finished me. my dad died before i could remember his face. all I wanted as a kid was my dad, not a dad but MY dad. I felt what he felt on the inside so to speak. it felt like he was someone who understood me. all the times he asked about his dad and all the times Gemma danced around it was EXACTLY what happens with me and my mom. I can't explain what I feel when I think about my dad without sounding like I'm bitching about my life, but this character summed it up in the end. he's kinda the father figure or older brother I never had. I'll never be able to say that about a TV show character again.

I'd probably just break if I went and visited the grave of a man I loved so much, but never got to meet. my first thought when I wake up is who was he, would he be proud of me. the pain just sits there all day and by the end of the night I'm emotionally drained. my dad had a heart condition and ended up drinking himself to death, my mom hates him for it, she refuses to talk about him. if you have children who lost a father real young, please don't express any hatred towards the father in front of them, that love they'll have is so strong and innocent it'll crush them. I actually have a younger sister who's father drank himself to death when she was only 7 years old. it absolutely makes my heart ache and I was grown up when we lost him....it's consumed my sister. she's turned to all kinds of bad shit and I know that painful void is the reason. I wish I could help her. I'm completely useless for her and she doesn't even talk to me anymore because I don't want that life around me and my kids. she left her 2 year old son. it's just gutwrenching. but never in a billion years would I ever say anything bad about her daddy. never. we've all had our demons and made our mistakes.

I feel like, when he lost Opie, he lost part of himself. Opie, was his past. They grew up together. Jax lost that, when Opie died. He lost who he was. Tara, was who he could be. If anyone could turn Jax away from SAMCRO, it was her. She could make him good again. And in this scene, he loses that potential. That how I interpreted it

soa the wire and rome i couldnt get into breaking bad game off thrones or the sopranoes im not saying game off thrones is bad just saying i couldnt get into it everything hbo touches is pure gold ill see how the witcher plays out not 100% on it yet looking forward to the lotr see if thats any good also a noteworthy thing is the punisher though only 2 seasons and no hope off a 3rd its still pretty good concidering havent mentioned the walking dead i stopped watching it cant remember the last time i watched it season 5 i think the spin off thing fear the walking dead i liked a lot more but thats personal prefrences
@@tiffanyzalas6748 the 2 for me are GOT and SOA no other shows have gripped me the way these 2 did it's just a shame that the last season of thrones was pants otherwise for me it'll probably have never been beaten as a television show, breaking bad was good, brilliant acting and writing it just didn't grip me, once you've seen Jessie fuck up on meth once you've seen it a million times, the world in which it was created was just too small we were either in Walt's house Jessies or the lab and there was just too many episodes where absolutely nothing happened and it felt like a waste of an hour. Yeah the witcher was alright I thought not in the same league as thrones but pretty good, the sopranos was excellent first box set I ever binged, hated the ending though

@@michaellove3461 thank you. Since I posted this comment, I lost my grandma in January and I just lost my dad on Memorial Day 5/31/21. My dad's death was out of nowhere. He suffered from schizophrenia and our relationship was really strained towards the end. I don't even know how he died. No cause of death yet. It was during a swat team stand off. It's hard to believe and I'm still in shock. I went right to this song again. Death sucks. Life has been so hard. I wish you the best as well. Stay strong.

Stefan Kwiatkowski Gemma doesn't deserve to have that type of sympathy. She caused this on herself, knowing what the consequences would be. Tara told Gemma that Jax would kill her IF she caused harm to her. Gemma knew that deep down and did it anyway. Not to forget, Jax also knew that Gemma was poisoning and would poison his kids even more had she been left alive.

This show was so great. It fucked me up though. I've never felt so much emotion before, not even during the troubled times of my own life. This show helped me through those times somehow. It was so happy, then sad, then angry and then sad again. And now it's left me feeling empty. The raw emotion and power in it, the way each song was chosen to go with it and the brilliant cast. The amount of sorrow you feel during this show is truly unique. Never will there be a show so great. Never. Thank you Kurt for making this, thank you cast for the way you put everything you had into this, thank you for the brilliant characters and the story. It was a wonderful journey.
I finished the series couple of weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about it. I break out in tear randomly. I get what you mean by how this show takes you in an emotional journey and leaves you all riled up and confused with what to do. After this show I got in touch with all the things that I kept to myself.. I wouldn't say this show was perfect but no other show however great they are have managed to make me come to terms with my own emotions.. I'm forever thankful to this show and everyone involved.

Those deaths were sad alright, but Gemma’s was the worst of all. ‘Cause she’s the creator’s wife. I’ll admit Kurt Sutter was a great man, but his wife Katey Sagal was the Queen. She always has been. I catch her voice that purple haired cyclops named Leela in Futurama.
Amazing season finale. Simply faultless in every way, it had brilliant timing, sadness, and most of all the shock. But all in all the music to go with it was absolutely stunning. SOA never fails to impress me after all these seasons. Charlie will no doubt get an award for his amazing performance. But seriously, what a show this is. Every season got better and better. And I'm also going to have to say that Breaking bad has gone down to number 2 spot of my best programmes I've watched. This show has topped it. Purely based on the fact that the music, the heart, the writing, the characters, the action, the comedy and the unpredictable was always exceptional. This show is a masterpiece.

Tara's death was so brutal and real...broke my heart to see her die and then for Jax to find her.
SPOILER ALERT: This is the most heart- wrenching episode of SoA. Right when it seemed like Tara would be able to raise her kids, Gemma steps I and sends that plan to hell. Watching Jax walk in and hearing him just say “Babe?” Was truly sad. Watching Jax have everything he loved ripped away, his best friend, Opie. His love, Tara. And all the other brothers he ended up burying along the way. All he had was the club, and, though he truly tried his best, he drove that further down. If you rewatch the first season, where all of SoA was a giant family, with the biggest problem was dealing with the Mayans or Nords, to seeing them, turn in each other, watch them change. This show is the epitome of what can happen, when lies and deceit, is what a family is built on. Love the ones close to you.
I vary rarely cry from a TV show but this episode absolutely slayed me...I wept like a baby...

Shawna Brandenstein I started with season seven (stupid) and the ending still killed me. mostly because I really connected to Jax. so many similarities between us. His dad started a MC, my uncles started a MC. His dad died when he was young, mine too. the end when he says to JT "I know who you are now, I love you dad" was what finished me. my dad died before i could remember his face. all I wanted as a kid was my dad, not a dad but MY dad. I felt what he felt on the inside so to speak. it felt like he was someone who understood me. all the times he asked about his dad and all the times Gemma danced around it was EXACTLY what happens with me and my mom. I can't explain what I feel when I think about my dad without sounding like I'm bitching about my life, but this character summed it up in the end. he's kinda the father figure or older brother I never had. I'll never be able to say that about a TV show character again.

Jax is so real. bobby said that everything just boils in his gut, which is so so brutally true of how many people feel about what happens in their lives. with me its not knowing my own father, not even having a grave to visit ( his ashes were spread) I'm kinda relieved tho. I'd probably just break if I went and visited the grave of a man I loved so much, but never got to meet. my first thought when I wake up is who was he, would he be proud of me. the pain just sits there all day and by the end of the night I'm emotionally drained. my dad had a heart condition and ended up drinking himself to death, my mom hates him for it, she refuses to talk about him. if you have children who lost a father real young, please don't express any hatred towards the father in front of them, that love they'll have is so strong and innocent it'll crush them. I get how you feel. you're definitely not stupid in any way.
I actually have a younger sister who's father drank himself to death when she was only 7 years old. it absolutely makes my heart ache and I was grown up when we lost him....it's consumed my sister. she's turned to all kinds of bad shit and I know that painful void is the reason. I wish I could help her. I'm completely useless for her and she doesn't even talk to me anymore because I don't want that life around me and my kids. she left her 2 year old son. it's just gutwrenching. but never in a billion years would I ever say anything bad about her daddy. never. we've all had our demons and made our mistakes.

@@tiffanyzalas6748 the 2 for me are GOT and SOA no other shows have gripped me the way these 2 did it's just a shame that the last season of thrones was pants otherwise for me it'll probably have never been beaten as a television show, breaking bad was good, brilliant acting and writing it just didn't grip me, once you've seen Jessie fuck up on meth once you've seen it a million times, the world in which it was created was just too small we were either in Walt's house Jessies or the lab and there was just too many episodes where absolutely nothing happened and it felt like a waste of an hour. Yeah the witcher was alright I thought not in the same league as thrones but pretty good, the sopranos was excellent first box set I ever binged, hated the ending though

@@michaellove3461 thank you. Since I posted this comment, I lost my grandma in January and I just lost my dad on Memorial Day 5/31/21. My dad's death was out of nowhere. He suffered from schizophrenia and our relationship was really strained towards the end. I don't even know how he died. No cause of death yet. It was during a swat team stand off. It's hard to believe and I'm still in shock. I went right to this song again. Death sucks. Life has been so hard. I wish you the best as well. Stay strong.

Tara told Gemma that Jax would kill her IF she caused harm to her. Gemma knew that deep down and did it anyway. Not to forget, Jax also knew that Gemma was poisoning and would poison his kids even more had she been left alive.

This show was so great. It fucked me up though. I've never felt so much emotion before, not even during the troubled times of my own life. This show helped me through those times somehow. It was so happy, then sad, then angry and then sad again. And now it's left me feeling empty. The raw emotion and power in it, the way each song was chosen to go with it and the brilliant cast. The amount of sorrow you feel during this show is truly unique. Never will there be a show so great. Never. Thank you Kurt for making this, thank you cast for the way you put everything you had into this, thank you for the brilliant characters and the story. It was a wonderful journey.
I finished the series couple of weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about it. I break out in tear randomly. I get what you mean by how this show takes you in an emotional journey and leaves you all riled up and confused with what to do. After this show I got in touch with all the things that I kept to myself.. I wouldn't say this show was perfect but no other show however great they are have managed to make me come to terms with my own emotions.. I'm forever thankful to this show and everyone involved.

Those deaths were sad alright, but Gemma’s was the worst of all. ‘Cause she’s the creator’s wife. I’ll admit Kurt Sutter was a great man, but his wife Katey Sagal was the Queen. She always has been. I catch her voice that purple haired cyclops named Leela in Futurama.
Amazing season finale. Simply faultless in every way, it had brilliant timing, sadness, and most of all the shock. But all in all the music to go with it was absolutely stunning. SOA never fails to impress me after all these seasons. Charlie will no doubt get an award for his amazing performance. But seriously, what a show this is. Every season got better and better.
And I'm also going to have to say that Breaking bad has gone down to number 2 spot of my best programmes I've watched. This show has topped it. Purely based on the fact that the music, the heart, the writing, the characters, the action, the comedy and the unpredictable was always exceptional.
This show is a masterpiece.

Yeah, well I bawl every time watching Gemma died. It must’ve been hard for the creator to do it, since she’s married to him in real life. I can’t watch Married with Children without thinking of that tragic moment.
