Day by day I'm think of this movie.... What an screen play s s s it deserve more than oscar
One of the best scenes. Two legends complimenting each other devoid of the itch to outdo and in total sink with their respective character's aspirations and beliefs. Nana though wrong in ideology is very convincing when he says 'power is my life's. His character looks so innocently or demonically justified from his perspective. That's the power of good acting. Rajni always looks brilliant when pitted against good actors. Sadly we have seen less of the brilliant actor in him who's been robbed by the superstar. The police station enquiry scene of drunk Kaala was another brilliance of Rajni's craft as an actor.
I have one doubt I don't know about Nana Patekar is he a good actor who acted as a lead

Yenda. He did not fall at Kalaignar or Amma feet for his movie release like other heroes we know. He has his own belief which he is following in his personal life. In that entire himalayas trip he touched the feet of so many saints or who he believes as saints. He doesn't come back to TN and say Adi Yogi is great or everyone should follow him. He is doing his personal stuff between movies. In the same trip he also met other CMs and governors. That doesn't mean he is discussing politics. He has his friends, contacts and acquaintances. Let him be what he is in his personal life. He is not hurting anyone but just doing his work. Why do you ppl always have problem with whatever he does? Have we ever paid so much attention to what our ward counselor does? What our district collector does? Just because he is a top media person, ppl are simply putting their noses behind him for engagement (likes, comments and shares)

As soon as he announced, that he was quitting and everyone went back to being normal with him. Even though Rajini is not a big factor in TN as he used to be, there was still a decent sense of insecurity among parties here because of a 3rd player entry, bjp. That's not because he will win or anything but he still could have divided votes more than others.
