Do you face any issues with Apple Pay payment from the 15 pro? Cuz since September I have to tap 2-3 times for the Apple Pay to work and sometimes it doesn’t even work. Maybe issue with the NFC?

@@nasher42007 there is an update to iOS 15.8.2 for devices that cannot update to iOS 16. I just updated my iPhone 7 Plus to version 15.8.2 tonight while updating my iPhone 12 Pro Max and M1 iPad Pro 12.9 inch to iOS and iPadOS 17.4.

@@Anonymous-kj7zu snipd but it transcribes it as it goes but Ives used that don’t transcribe it until you want to save a portion of the podcast or take a note on it.

Got the 14 in july 2023 battery capacity is already at 89%😐

Anybody know how difficult it is to replace the battery in a 13 Pro Max? Maybe better to take it to Apple store. I'd like to keep my phone since i have no issues, besides the battery life.
I have a iPhone 15 Pro Max and just installed the 17.4 public release and now my Brightness True Tone is not adjusting automatically. Turned it off and back on, restarted iPhone. Still the brightness stays at what ever level set it at.

I have a bug in this update where when you triple tap speak screen doesn’t work. Everything else does. How could we fix this or should we wait for the next update?

by that, do you mean ProMotion pushing higher refresh rates, or is the frame pacing more consistent?
Pro Motion is 120hz and no update will make it go higher. Usually it runs at a 80hz (most cases in standard apps). I sincerely doubt that there has been any change to affect frame pacing in such a drastic way to be noticeable by a human. It would be to big of a change for a .x update but I could be wrong on that.
@@itsNightShine I’m aware that 120Hz is the maximum, but the issue is that iOS is very aggressive with how it handles higher refresh rates- scrolling tops out at 80/90Hz, while some animations here and there are 120Hz.
What about the brightness/audio slider flickering issue ? Why is nobody talking about these issues …
I also have this issue on my iPhone 12 Pro

Updated iPad Air this.morning and got some but not much,I liked the video but need to focus on iPads that have 17.4 ,I didn’t have my iCloud photo on my Lock Screen after it went back on or is it in EU only? Which is unfair to the rest of the Apple users

@@utilisateurnothing-xd5wjI don’t really think it’s a placebo effect. I updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I’ve also noticed that things are significantly snappier and lagging less. Apps load up faster, animations seem smoother, and I feel like the variable refresh rate is more accurate. Most likely some minor tweaks or bug fixes were made that optimized performance.
@@acwesty i agree. I commented too early. My 15 pro max actually running at 120hz now, for the first time since I bought it. Also, gesture feel very responsive

Currently on iPhone 14 px, updated to 17.4, experiencing lots of battery drain was at 67% in 5minutes went to 51% hope it gets fixed your videos appreciated like always.
My old iPhone 7 went from 43% to 15% in less than 8 minutes. Just unlocking the phone would drop the battery 3%. My iPhone 11 has been a lot better, but is still getting worse and rather quickly.

was seeing a duplicate bug in photos. pictures are replicating and creating duplicates multiple times. hope that is fixed too.

Will they ever fix “default sound notifications”???? It does NOT play the sound selected. It did prior to September of 2023.
Hi Aaron - a small but welcome change I just noticed: when playing podcasts while navigating with Google Maps - it now rewinds the podcast after the Map has finished doing a navigation voice over. Previously it muted the podcast so you could hear the Map but then you just lost what was being said (Android paused the podcasts). But now it works great! However - why can't we have the ability change speed of playback on a per Podcast channel basis? Some people talk very slowly, other fast - and on my Android devices I can set this per channel. But not on iOS.
Hi Aaron, after updating to 17.4, for some reason youtube premium is no longer playing in PiP.. it goes to the dynamic island like a music but its no longer showing as PiP. don't know if it's a bug with ios or youtube 😔

Weird that I didn't get the new welcome screen... Wifi is still a mess, though. CZcams video's, webpage loading, etc, randomly stops until I disconnect from my home network. Same issue as I had ever since 17 came out. I'm using the 14 Pro.

I tried to download 17.4 here in Australia, then it went into preparing at 60% . It won’t finish the download, I’ve checked connection with Wifi and server, Good . My 15 pro max does work properly but won’t finish 17.4 . Maybe you can help me?

Hi, I had my 15 Pro a couple of days.Today I listened to one album and I have to admit the phone got really warm. It wasn’t happening on my previous iPhone 12.
There is a bug in this update for Ipad os or MacOS, If you try to drag and drop image from Mac to Ipad using universal control, the operation fails. The ipad registers this move as resizing the ipad window.
Using iPhone 15 pro max, updated to 17.4 iOS (EU), the Journal application after opening it with Face ID, shows the greeting panel and the continue button can’t be activated. The application can’t be used. Tried different forums’ advices to get the app alive but with no success.
After installing iOS 17.4 unlocking mac with Apple Watch stopped working. Error: Apple Watch must be signed into iCloud to unlock your Mac. Have rebooted both iPhone/Watch. Have unpaired/re-paired. Still same error messages. Is this known bug ?
