- Red Bull Hardline is back for its eighth edition and has strengthened its status as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world.
Dan Atherton has spent the last year making improvements to the course - a brutal part-downhill, part-freeride track set in the heart of Wales's Dyfi Valley - which should make this year's event the hardest yet.

Bernard looks to have so much respect from all the riders. He has the guts to guinea pig the jumps and is keen to guide the rookies through stuff. What a guy. Any crash that destroys a front wheel like that is brutal.
He deserved a world cup win this year been riding brilliantly.

I love this video. When you see the runs of these guys from the race, they all seem superhuman. It is really cool to seem them practice and being nervous about the difficulty of the course. Showing their human side and that tackling this course takes insane amount of self-control and training even for these pros.

If there was betting available I'd stake all I own on Kerr without a doubt. The man OWNS Hardline and is also performing incredibly well in Elite downhill.

No way I would try that jump after him, when he literally smashed his rim with it. I think these guys are finding the mechanical limit of Downhillers. Hell nah.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know that Johnno has actually fully competed in this event before? I thought RB has invited him to come along and ride a few of the features and he's crashed horribly and then hobbled off? Never seen him do a full run of the course?
