toriel is a goat-like monster who is the second major character the protagonist encounters in undertale. she saves the protagonist from flowey and guides them through the ruins, of which she is the self-proclaimed caretaker. before the events of undertale, she was married to king asgore and had a son, asriel. when the deaths of their two children pushed asgore to declare war on humanity, toriel left him and remained in the ruins. toriel often checks the entrance to the ruins to tend to the bed of golden flowers and aid those who fall into the underground. sometime after that, toriel and sans became friends over knock-knock jokes they shared at the ruins's exit door. one day, she requested that he promises to protect humans that exit through the door.
glamrock freddy, also known simply as freddy fazbear, is freddy fazbear's glamrock counterpart who appears in five nights at freddy's: security breach as the deuteragonist and ally to gregory. unlike his counterparts, glamrock freddy actively assists and protects gregory. he is initially introduced as a bookish, straightforward entertainer. unlike other animatronics in the franchise and his previous iterations, glamrock freddy is overall a friendly, honest, and agreeable personality. he is shown to be very protective of gregory and very focused on keeping him safe, going as far as allowing him to hide in his stomach (albeit he is at first uncomfortable to do so as his compartment is not suited to hide humans) to prevent the other animatronics from finding him. he may not be smarter than the average bear, but he protects gregory at all costs as they try to escape the pizzaplex.

I outright started sobbing during Toriels second verse.
Your ability to portray subtle melancholy and battles as narratives is genuinely unmatched. The neon bright facade of Fazbears verses being slightly goofy with a hint of things falling apart or subdued with a dark edge ((which functions on both a narrative and meta level for the game!~) contrasted to Toriels attempts at a confident assured sweetness tinged in the bitter and then breaking in the second verse, before she has to leave.

Freddys rhyming was also way better imo, Toriels felt kinda off, lile her last lines in both verses didnt rhyme with the rest very well iirc.

@@realnamebutitisnt.6610he did not win by a lot/a landslide (at least to me). Also, I think you’re not accounting for the full lines and/or internal rhyme schemes of some of Toriel’s lines. For example, I’m fine with Toriel’s last line of the first round not rhyming; the line before it already has an internal rhyme scheme. And regarding the battle’s last verse, the tenth and twelfth lines rhyme while the ninth and eleventh already have internal rhymes in them. Also, the first two Freddy lines weren’t enunciated right (at least the second one wasn’t) for them to properly rhyme.
Onto my response to OP, I fail to see how the first line you brought up was a diss to Toriel, so I don’t think that necessarily elevated Freddy’s performance.
And lastly, can I say that I thought Toriel won? I don’t want to get super defensive and this battle can easily go either way.

Wow this is actually a tough choice. But I liked it when Freddy called out Toriel that she basically left a child to fend off monsters that want to kill them. I think Freddy took it, but it was very close.
I mean it’s not like she had much of a choice it was either keep this child miserable which most likely just like her other kids would suicide (asriel and chara) or she lets them go and hopes they don’t die

But in the game, she literally runs off to make pies and leaves us to fend for ourselves against murderous monsters. And if we wanted to leave the Ruins, she should have come with us and actually guided us. But she doesn't. And she leaves us to potentially die to any number of monsters.

The style of your battles are always phenomenal. I keep coming back to these over and over, my favorites tend to be ones like this that manage to make lyrics with sadder tones because they turn out so unique and you nail them. Noelle vs Sayori, Goner Kid vs Lost Silver, and this battle are all amazing at keeping solid entertaining rap flow while mixing in emotion and meaning past just having disses over and over.
I'm a fnaf fan and don't know much about undertale, but Toriel's second verse was special. It had this melancholic vibe that I don't think I've ever seen in a rap battle. It was super cool to watch so i gotta give it to her.
This battle had really great production. It looked so good
I swear to god, you are the most underrated rapper online. Like, not only the rap itself is fire, specially Freddy's verses, but the animation is absolutely great, like I saw other rappers with your subs and the animation quality is absolutely different, like I would expect this (sound and visual wise) from a 100K subs channel. Also, some details are also really cool, like in the first seconds when Gregory says that Toriel can't be Daycare because she hasn't seen a sun in years, the word ''sun'' changes to ''son''. You have all my respect, hope you get more recognition.
Okay, 4th ERB inspired channel I've watched EVERY battle from ... holy fuck, the GLOWUP from ERBOB to these MASTERPIECES is insane. I'm so happy i found this little community of ERB inspired channels and it's INSANE how good y'all are! ANd it's truly amazing to see that all these stemmed from just wanting to have fun and improve your video editing, music making, rapping skills! EVERYONE is these projects KILL IT every time. Mad Respect.
Gotta go with Toriel since, while her bars didn't hit as hard, Freddy got not one, not two, but FOUR people to tag in and help his raps, whereas Toriel's rapping by herself.

Thats fair, but at the same time it makes sense and i think its intentional, Freddy has always expressed his care for his friends and band mates, and him and Gregory have always been a dynamic duo throughout the game. Whilst Toriel essentially abandoned everyone, and even the monsters in the Ruins fear her. She only had a loose connection to sans. It would’ve been cool if Frisk tagged along as a counterpart to Gregory but I still think it worked out well as a close match.

The last bar of Toriel is a double reference not only to the DLC is because Freddy will be always walking in Ruins as we see in the DLC
I love this one so much. The voices are perfect and the instrumental.. My God, the instrumental is actually amazing. Toriel's flow and roasts were actually so good. Even though she was getting tag-teamed by the entire Glamrock group, she still held her own and probably won in my opinion. Her lyrics go extremely hard as well and I could feel my heart aching from them. Masterfully done, it's absolutely amazing.
I woulf say Freddy won. His second verse was fire and the underlying roast of it was the hardest hitting one in the battle imo.

Gregory and Freddy stole the show I felt, that last verse bodied and their last line was just overkill. Toriel would've came closer, but her flow felt a lot more inconsistent, especially in her last verse. I appreciate the experimentation tho

Freddy and his groups flow was *amazing* in both verses, absolutely loved his 2nd one.
My only issue is Toriels rhymes didnt sound quite as good, but her disses were still great!
Honestly when the other aninatronics started rapping i expected the other Monsters to join too, but still, it was great.

Theyre still good lines but in 1on1 ((even if the other animatronics appeared for about 1 second each and Gregory-The guy that Glamrock is with through the entire game-helped in Freddys 1st verse to SET LINES UP))

My main problem really is about the argument people use sometimes where 'If one character gets another person to rap with them and the other doesnt, the other wins" since Freddys 'help' was mostly just the others setting up lines he wouldve delivered himself anyway.

Toriel abandoned her husband cuz he made bad choices and rules the place she stays in because the monsters there fear her, and her relationship with the player isnt actually that great if you think about it, she just tries to make them stay with her until either she gets killed or decides to let the player lesve after almost killing them.
I love this battle so much. The animation, the beat, the disses, & the voice acting are phenomenal. This pure talent! 🔥🔥🔥

A really great battle. Great animation, great voice acting and almost great writing (a lot of toriel disses were just "you game is bad") I also have some ideas for future rap battles:
-asriel/flowey vs Elizabeth Afton/circus baby
Two kids who thanks to a killer in their fanchise (chara, Wiliam Afton) they died and then thanks to some experiments with souls the got bring back to life as a cold killer in monster form. After this many years later they both trick an unknown portagonist into thinking they're good and then they backstabbed them.

Sorry for coming in watching this late. But that aside, this rap battle is a MASTERPIECE!! It is so well-made with both styles of animation and the editing depicted being fun to watch. The right people were selected to voice all the featured characters here, the writing was amazing throughout, the interactions with FNAF:SB characters were cool too, the instrumental(s) sound fantastic (the energized synths for the Freddy verses and cutesy, bright synths for the Toriel verses are some of the best I’ve heard in rap battles) and each verse is unique in their own way.
For a winner in this battle, I’m going with Toriel, though I will say that she barely won and that people who say otherwise can disagree with me as long as they’re respectful. This also marks the first UnderTale rap battle I’ve watched where I can confidently give the win to the UnderTale character, and also the first Peachumari win I’m declaring.
The second verses for this battle are satisfying, stand out quite well, and are riddled with good disses on each side. The emotional Toriel verse in that round is up there with other well-made emotional verses as one I’ll remember for good reasons, and I appreciate the comic art style and writing within the second third of Freddy’s second verse. Thanks for this wonderful masterpiece once again, Patrick a.k.a GamingPlush64 and I look forward to more of your content in the future!

To be fair, I'm a little late to watching this video, but it still holds up. The lines that Freddy used on Toriel were absolutely astonishing and blew me out the water. THIS is how you make a rap battle!
