- After enjoying a few days exploring Chengdu, I decided to head to Xining for a unique journey on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. This remarkable train route, often referred to as the "Heavenly Road" in China, offers a truly magical experience that I can't wait to share with all of you.
The Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the highest railway line globally (built from 1858 to 2006), connecting mainland China and Tibet. Stretching over 960 km frozen earth, with portions exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level and the highest point reaching a staggering 5,072 meters, this railway is the miracle of Human railway construction.
Today, traveling on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway has become an integral part of any visit to Tibet, captivating 70% of tourists who opt for this scenic train journey from mainland China. If you're planning a trip to Tibet, feel free to reach out to me for assistance in arranging this unforgettable train ride or purchasing tickets. Please do contact me at jamyangtour@gmail.com.

About Me - Jamyang
I am Jamyang, and I have been working as a tour guide with Tibet Vista Tour for 15 years. In 2020, during the Covid-19 global pandemic, I lost my job of being a tour guide, with the support of the company, I immersed myself in filming videos and documenting the culture of Tibet. My goal is to share the beautiful landscapes of Tibet, Tibetan culture, and the genuine and enchanting lifestyle of the local Tibetans with people around the world who love and care about my beloved hometown Tibet. If you plan to visit Tibet, be sure to get in touch with me. I can show you the best and most authentic Tibet.
Jamyang la deserve a million of subscribers.. for Tibetan outsiders 🙏 . Greetings from Tibetan from Bhutan 🇧🇹

The train to Xining - Tibet, when its operated date is 2006 its now 20 years since operation.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I really interested the trip by the train from Chendu to Lhasa. I will keep contact with you soon. from Charles Thailand.
hello sir, if you want to go to tibet from beijing which station can you take?
15:49, what kind of watch is that?
there are many Tibetan restaurants in some parts of Xining city, Xining's Tibetan are mainly Amdo Tibetan .when they stay together it's more like a whole Tibetan community appeared in that place .Tibetan words are everywhere in that part of city ,hospital ,restaurant ,shops ,schools ,street signs ,public toilets ,etc.but only in that Tibetan area, Tibetan words will disappear just next block .not only in Xining ,Amdo Tibetan like to live in a compact community in any Amdo area.1/5 city is Tibetan ,other areas belong to sala ,hui, han, dongxiang ,etc.people in Amdo area like to cut the city into pieces to live .
Please, what are Amdo Tibetans? Why don’t the mix with other cultures? I am living in the multi-cultural City of Melbourne. Here are also special ethnic communities but we all mix with each other. I am just asking out of interest. Thank you. Greetings from Australia.
@@judykraska400Because where you live there are not many large groups of ethnic groups, just dozens of different races, and there are not many cultural differences in using English or speaking English.
@@user-lk2gk8ld7vYes, you are right. Thank you for your answer.
Bertie8046, Tibet language is always in existence. The Chinese government respects all the minorities languages and religions. There are no biases except the demonising from the paid journalists who propagandised whatever goods the government provided. All the 56 ethnicities are still celebrating their own cultures and traditional beliefs where you could not find elsewhere the governments restrict and stop their cultures and their languages. Visit and see to believe it yourself
so you visited Xining but not Kumbum Monastery (སྐུ་འབུམ་བྱམས་པ་གླིང) nearby Xining, the most famous Buddhist temple in Amdo Tibetan area?
He was in hurry to back Lhasa. That area he visited is close to the hotel he was in. The temple you mentioned must be far away from the hotel.
Dear, this is about the train ride from Xining to Lhasa, not an extensive analysis of the City. He probably did not have the time with the group responsibility. It looked like a multi faceted ethnical diverse City, you can only do justice in an extensive documentary, which was not the aim of this documentary, rather to introduce to the world this beautiful train ride to tourists from around the world, when you have the money to choose a comfortable compartment. Thank you.

Jamyang La, i hope you will vist Kham eastern tibet more and show us breathtaking sceneries, its culture, tradition, and Food Which is totally different From Lhasa as you.
Just enjoy this ride, why always wishing for something else. Do you ever live in the moment.
Don’t think u Are enjoying the moment much Haha
Is there a multi entry visa to tibet? Greetings from brazil
You don't need a visa for Tibet, but you do need a Chinese visa.
I love watching your videos really wanna visit Lhasa can you please tell me how we can do it I am Canadian citizen
Get Chinese visa first
this train is better than the one in U.S.A. the Amtrack train is outdated and old.
The beauty, prosperity & happiness of Xizang 西藏 under the smart & brilliant development & progress of her only motherland, China 中国. It's utmost fortunate & lucky for Xizang 西藏 to be under the best care & protection from her only motherland, China 中国. China's Xizang 中国西藏. 🎉🎉🎉
You are mistaken, it is and always will be Tibet, under Chinese occupation.
@@srper2 False, it belongs to Chinese territory since Yuan dynasty.
guys, take it easy. The name of the place should be named by the people who live there. And for the people who are already there, they are where they are, not west or 西。Tibet in old Chinese is 吐蕃 that's the name you might have heard. The name 西藏 was used by the Manchu empire recently since.
@@baohuawu805 actually looking back at history is not very helpful. Yuan was the Mongolian dynasty. Can we say that China is part of Mongolia? It is important to look forward for a better future together......if we love and care each other together then we no need any historical reasons.
@@tsdz2008 sorry I just can't agree, there is an old saying in China, "Forgetting history is tantamount to betrayal". Love and Care is not everything in life, and it is too hypocrisy, at least to me.

I would love to travel on this railway. Though, Is this railway used to eradicate Tibetan culture and assert Han chinese supremacy and dominance in an occupied region?
That pink colour t shirt 👚 looking like xxiii ping😂
I have lot of questions ..one of those is how come we only get to see your part of the video vlogging ..whereas residence and tourist are monitored and asked whereabouts .
If u are just doing for Chinese Propagenda ..may u have lot of richness but that won’t stay long .
😂
???😂
Nobody is forcing you to watch this channel or go to Xizang. If you dislike, just get lost. As simple as that.

what's your point? yes ,root is good .
He’s proud of his roots that’s why he’s sharing it with you
@outsidewell6932 if he have proud of he's root that good but I hope he will not change his root for the little money
Where's your root? May I know?
@RoseRose-gk6ku yes my root is original tibetan so I have very proud of that
Train runs around the world except it doesn’t run in Nepal. I’m 70 years old, my neighbors India and China always says that will make train to travel across Nepal but it’s limited to gossips only. There’s only one small train comes from Indian border to Janakpur. There’s a toy train given by Nehru to the children of Nepal. Should I keep on believing that there’ll be train in Nepal?
China is building it but it takes time, because the mountainous terrain and permafrost ground is very challenging for building train tracks.

Hi Malory,
I totally agree with you. I’m disappointed now since I heard since my childhood that there’ll be train in Nepal but it never happened. I’ll hope now. Thanks!
Tibet not belong to China
keep lying to yourself
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why deception and violence are everywhere.

Dear Jamyang, the history about Buddhist destroying the temples is not true. Please tell us the source of this history, we the audience like to check it.
As everybody knws General Ma Bufang of Xining attacked Tibet and destroyed many monasteries and killed many Tibetans.
Not only did he attack Tibet once, but several times.
The history are available in many libraries.
History is mess in Qinghai. Other ethnicities, like Qiang, Hun (shamanism), Tuyuhun (different Buddhism), Mongolian (adopting Tibetan Buddhism), Hui Muslim, and finally Man (adopting Tibetan Buddhism) took controlled Xining. Arround 8 century AD, Tibetan Buddhism arrived Qinghai area.
