Have you seen the anime Cells at Work? This art style reminds me of some of those characters. Especially Temperance - they look like the Macrophage Cell

Yesss I highly recommend watching it! The concept is "what if the living body was a city and the individual cells were people??" I have a degree in Biochemistry and I loved the accuracy of the cells haha. It's a quick watch, just a couple seasons and very enjoyable.

Also never looked at it consciously but I feel like every deck that I now look at will have to live up to the word contrast that is now stickin in my head.
Also now I'm interested if you actually kept it and you just had a critical day or if that impression stuck with you and you let it go.
LOL yeah sorry about that, for both the high priestess thing and for the contrast thing lol. There are so many ways they could’ve added dimension to the images, you know? Light vs dark shades, complimentary colors, consistently varying the line weight where some outlines are heavier at places and others lighter. But here we are lol. So I actually sold and listed it the next day 😅 Thank you for watching and saying hi btw! Always enjoying reading and responding to your comments 💜
@@LarkandLegend you don't have to apologize for that. It's not hindering me to enjoy Tarot and art. I actually learned sth from that for example the reason why I don't like some artwork in decks or what could be improved.
