      Dundalk got more for they runi europe than GAAs contract with sky.People look at today 72000 last week and 189000 through croke park last week and say the GAA are making loads of money,but gate money is all they really get sponsorship fairly low and TV money fairly low. earthsgard

      irishlongsword boland i know what your saying and i totally agree with your comment. but it the not getting paid part that makes it solid to the core and for the pride of the jersey sky are already calling the shots since they took over with the rights to our games ... clubs need money not players it will fuck them up.... what do you pay a gaa man...hard one to call .... i think this season sky will show 20 exclusive games and only 1 is been showed on rte... not fair on the population or older generation who cant get out and dont want to be in a pub situation...gaa is sitting on a fortune the cunts... sickens me to see local clubs struggle against larger well settled clubhouse having clubs... theres alot to take on board with the way its going now look at the PL bunch of panzies swear a sniper took them out....and there letting that shit on to our beautiful im not happy bout that tbh....

      Well earthsgard All the semifinals finals are going to be shown on RTE as well as sky.however they shouldn't be any at all sky destroy the schedules matches have to be played at awkward inconvenient times that inevitably reduces attendances.One match extratime had to be delayed 20minutes for sky sports news.I mean
      inner city dublin has the 4th largest GAA stadium and only one feckin club.They are talking about doing development work around croke park it doesn't seem to include a boody GAA club like they are supposed to be doing.For example landsdowne rd rugby club is still in existenceThe irfu could easily have built a bigger stadium on landsdownes pitch,but they didn't they had not forgotten their amateur values even after 15 of professionalism.

    It's very interesting that the professional players (baseball) focus on technique and question and really want/need to understand how and why they should hit it a certain way. This shows a good perspective as it highlights that they always look at the finer details. The hurlers rely mostly on instinct. You can see another good example of this in CZcams when Stephen Cluxton and Jonny Sexton are kicking footballs: Sexton needs/wants to know the how's and the why's.

      @silverkitty2503 Před 4 lety +1

      Hurlers really do focus on finer details ...they just know you are not going to absorb that all in five mins. Its a very technical game. That doesn't change because we are Irish.

      I’m not from Cork. I’m a yank, I lived in Cork for a period of my life though. I believe it comes from when they tried to install Perkin Warbeck as king. They taught us that in the Tudor History class I took. I actually later presented in this period of Irish history at a conference. Granted I lived in Cork and that’s what they told me lol.
