The fake ones have the following differences...
The o-rings have inferior quality and can tear
The pintle/o-rings caps are shorter than the genuine ones
On the back of the injector, towards the top o-rings, there is a raised portion of the plastic that should be smooth and round
On the inside of the EV1 connector, there is a number stamp on the fake one
Overall, there are many casting flaws on the plastic
The fake ones have printed barcodes where it should be laser- etched.
Also look at the silver metal ring directly below the black body. Difference there as well.

Id be interested to know if the genuine actually had a Bosch logo imprinted in one of the casting round hole like dimples where the non genuine likely hadn't ?
So you see Bosch dealers offering: out of the box, static, and flow matched.. Is flow matched done at the factory, or Dlr? Do that have a large quantity and flow them all, then match rates? Static?

You should instal them and do a critique. I am not a big fan of Bosch quality either.
I've bought one supposed bosch fuel pressure regulator..sent it back..didnt havevthe shiny sticker or new square bar code..is this fake.?

are the knockoffs any good..? I'd send out for flow match, but I'm on a budget and $140/set, compared to 500+, that's a huge difference! I have Deka 80's but I don't think they'll support a turbo LS making 800-1,000whp. Thanks for the info!
No, not at all. On my injector tester, they leaked like crazy and a couple didn't even spray at all.
I definitely wouldn't cheap out if I'm pushing that much power lol
@eliancastillo726 I ended up investing in a set of FIC 1440's. I mean, with billet injectors and lifetime warranty, how can you go wrong..? Yea, it's a big hit up front, but at least I'm comfortable and know I have a good set of injectors! Didn't cheap out on lifters either, Johnson 2116, almost a grand for a set! I just hope street driving is OK! ⅜ pushrods, which I'm scared to death are going to scrub on the heads, in that case, I'd put a .120 wall, ⁵/16th set in it and call it a day! All my valve trane is coming apart after a couple heat cycles too for re-tq of heads. It's close, just needs exhaust and some fab to the cold side...

How difficult would it be to shut down the fakes? Bosch, could do it. Just sue them into oblivion.
Oh I'm sure they have taken some action against the Chinese knock offs. Ever wonder why there's so many different brands on Amazon that sell the same exact product? They purposely do this in case they get sued and have to shut one business down, but they have 10+ other companies to fall back on. It's ridiculous!
