    Hello JB.
    You made my eyes tear up.
    I am so incredibly overjoyed to hear this declaration of transformation.
    Going from a constant state of ‘SickPerson’ to ‘No Longer Sick, but Not Quite Healthy Yet’
    If I may ask, how long has your brain been cautiously hinting that it may be done being sick?
    However long its been, Im crossing my fingers and toes in hope that all the little victories begin to snowball upon themselves until you can tell us that you are officially a ‘Healthy Person who Used to be Sick’
    I hope you continue to provide updates so we can all live vicariously through your emerging recovery story. (And cheer you on from the sidelines. Much like you have been doing for us.)
    Strength and Continued Health
    COVID is Stoopid

      Thankyou! I think the last couple of months I've been teetering towards this. I had this Thing where I couldn't say I was "fully recovered" until I actually was. Then I realised that there was a step in between - the "not sick but not quite there yet" step that I'm currently sitting on. I think getting out of the sickness mindset has helped as well.
      I'll be continuing the updates and with the podcast of course - and thankyou!

    Great to hear your new good news. Yes, its very important to see our self as not sick, its a big step forwart to recovery. Im in my 15th month of LC, but since 3 month I dont see my self longer as a sick person with long covid, I swiped off the LC label. Im now just a person with a disregulatet nervussystem and it feels totaly different. Im not worring so much anymore about my recovery. Im fully exepting it like it is atm. And since 3 month I startet to do improvements. Im doing now light fitness and interfall jogging. Bevore my mind shift I couldnt imagin it. Now its getting slowly better and better. Yes, there is a light at the end of the tunel. We just have to be patient and not giving up on our self and our health. Hope is also a huge factor in a recovery proccess. It builds the bodys resilience to overcome a health chalenge.
    Everyone out there struggeling with health problems, keep your head up and never give up or give in.
    Everything is possible.

    What wonderful news! I do hope you avoid the fate of catching it again that other long haulers suffer by looking at the FLCCC prevention protocol. The one with ivm, hcq, black seed oil, zinc and quercetin on it. Also bromelain can’t hurt. Yes, there is prescription medication on there that you can’t easily get your hands on in most of Europe, but you can fly to countries such as Egypt, Slovakia and Bulgaria to buy it. Don’t be like me and hesitate to take this stuff.

    This is amazing, thanks for sharing. Sometimes I feel guilty experiencing about 75% recovery after around a year long haul, when the OG long haulers have been suffering for so much longer. I hope this post offers hope to the 2020 long haulers

    38 months here also but, like you, I don't consider myself sick anymore on a daily basis. What I have noticed, however, is that if I seriously overdo it, I will still get a relapse, but not nearly as bad or as long lasting as they used to be. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!!

    • @longcovidpodcast
      @longcovidpodcast  Před rokem

      I noticed the kind of "reduced" relapse and now at the point where I don't really get it at all. Like I'll feel tired if I've done a lot - but so would a normal person! Glad things are improving for you too!

    This is absolutely amazing! Heading into my 4th summer with long covid and as a hayfever sufferer it’s not easy but I’m getting a lot fitter and can walk and breathe a lottttt more than I’d ever hope. I’m a bit nervous how long the good lasts though. How long have you felt good, since spring brought longer days? 😊Glad we are getting there, there is light at the end of the tunnel for sure❤

    • @longcovidpodcast
      @longcovidpodcast  Před rokem +1

      This is great that you're doing so much better too! (Have you looked into breathing to help with your hayfever?)
      Something that helped me with the ups/downs was to try to lose expectations, as well as remembering that feeling rough one morning is normal even for a healthy person, and that it doesn't mean you're going to hit a "down" for ages. Speedbumps - they slow us down a little, but don't stop us getting there :)
