600$ is a lot of money so a lot of books but then again if you go shopping online at Folio Society and include shipping well that would be 4 or maximum 5 books!
Great video! Curious, of the Canterbury Classics, do they have illustrations other than the first page? I know most are adult books, but some classics such as Peter Pan and Jungle Book I'd like to get for my children.
There's another series called The Children's Illustrated Classics anthey have illustrations. Just want to know before making a decision. Thank you

I see you have Black Beauty. I used to work in a charity bookstore. A woman came in with her little girl to look around. She picks up a book and says, "Oh, Black Beauty!" Little girl says, "Black Booty?" Mom cracks up. I choke on my water. Little girl takes this as a sign to say "Black Booty!" repeatedly. Now, every time I see that book -"Black Booty!"

The Word Cloud Classics are gorgeous! Can you tell me about the font size of Les Misérables? Is it readable?
The font size is a little smaller than a usual book, but the spacing isn't super tight, making it easier to read.

thanks to globalism so many stores, family owned businesses etc go out of business and then google/amazon etc monopolies do the rest. all owned by the same shareholders :(( sucha cool event and amazing books. I also love the canterbury classics!

what's the print size of these books? I got a set of lord of the rings and his dark materials a while back and the font was nigh unreadable
The Canterbury Classics? They're about five by eight. The font isn't super big, but the spacing is double so it's easy to read. I have a few other classics editions where fonts were much smaller and single-spaced I found them hard to read. I've had no issues with the Canterbury Classics.
