- Howdy again! So this landing into Seattle Tacoma was quite beautiful. We passed by the Cascades mountain range, including Mt. Rainier, to the south before touching down. There were also nice views of the surrounding Puget Sound, a nice peek of what’s to come on the trip :) Hope you enjoyed this vid, albeit quite a long one. I tell you what, living in the NW WA my entire life, It is emotionally moving every time I fly back to Seatac airport and get a rare clear day to see the beauty we are blessed to live in such an amazing natural setting. Our politics are corrupted but the natural splendor of our open forest lands is unmatched. I live out in those foot hills of Mt. Rainer it is incredible.
The views sure were incredible. Nostalgia coming back from a trip is always great :)

Nice view of the shoreline in Des Moines at 13:08. The marina and the fishing jetty. Love it around there. Used to go watch the sunset over the Olympic mountains and watch these planes on final.

Have done those approaches to SeaTac dozens of times and counting on American Airlines, Southwest Airlines Delta Airlines and Alaska Airlines
never gets old does it :)
