It's heavy main riff and tempo is just so in the zone. The only thing I didnât tab out is the background guitar effect thatâs a little hidden in the original mix. They donât do this live and I had to make an educated guess as to whatâs going on there. But the guitars that are played live - itâs there in the tab.
In measure 20, I used only downstrokes on the muted strings. But you can also alternate pick that and it sounds fine. Hetfield does this live but it's questionable if he did on the studio take.
In measure 31, I tabbed out 2 downstrokes on the F5 (3rd fret A and D strings) because that's what I seen Hetfield do live. But you can really hear that in the mix so I can see why in most tabs, you only see a single stroke of that.

Finally, someone that plays the Chorus correctly. Official TABS are wrong and most internet TABS are incorrect. When you watch James play it LIVE, this is the way he plays it. đ€đđ€

@@xdstudiosofficialI know this is 11 months old but maybe this is a problem youâre still facing. I know some people record their own backing tracks to avoid it, maybe you can find independently recorded ones. Also like the other guy said, playing it different in subtle ways can help too. Iâve also noticed it helps if thereâs no vocals or your own.
But having as little of the original recordings as possible is your best bet for the auto detection to not pick it up
This song is way more nuanced than I realized. Awesome job! I wish I had resources like this back when I was locked in my bedroom, searching up incorrect tabs as a teen in the 90s!

All, Crue songs are in this tuning. I recommend learning âShe Goes Down.â Very fun and easy song of theirs. Also Metallicaâs cover of Whiskey in the Jar uses this tuning. Always nice to have a D-Standard guitar. Rock on đ€
