I love the Spectra and I am waiting for the pro versions, I am excited about their theme builder feature I hope they are able to give us what we really want. I hope Spectra gives us an all-one solution for building websites.

Looks like Theme + Block Plugin is the way the popular themes are heading towards. GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks, Kadence Theme + Kadence Blocks, And now Astra + Spectra. Its high time Blocksy develops a block plugin of their own, rather than promoting third party plugins like Stackable.

I have to say that with the advent of full site editing it is getting really difficult to choose a platform to work with. They are all starting rival traditional page builders and I see many choices coming up. It's wonderful to have options but where do we go from here. lol. Great video, Paul. Thank you.
Another great tool to work with and it is getting hard to pick the right one, In my view out of the box performance configuration is a key feature of page builders that will have a future and will be in the top 3
You did overlap between UAG/Spectra and Astra in some places there, Paul. Looks very polished. Been using UAG for a while. Did you notice when Spectra v2.0.0 was released, within hours there was a v2.0.1, hours later a v2.0.2 and within a few days we're now up to v2.0.7. I wonder if they released it to a furious UAG audience with broken websites? I've had no problems, but curious to see 7 releases in far fewer days.
One of the major reasons to use blocks is site speed. How fast is the resultant Spectra + Astra combination?
I started new wordpress project using astra and spectra with block editor system i mean no elementor.. I feel it very cool specially by importing ready template. I am a drupal dev by the way.
Can I use it alongside Elementor? I use Elementor for the Hello theme and templates, but prefer Gut for posts. Any issues you've discovered?

I am using Spectra in one of my website build with guttenberg and I love it.
What about the speed of website?? Is it better then elementor?
@@AadityaSharmas far better than Elementor. I have 4 websites build using guttenberg. I had shifted all of them from Elementor to guttenberg.
If you are concerned about speed then Elementor is the last builder I will suggest to use.
I have my portfolio website build using divi which gives me a decent speed of 84-90 without any caching plugin (I use cloudways hosting).
If you are comfortable with guttenberg then give it a try.
@@sujitbiswasseo I never use divi even I purchased it. I used Bakery builder and shift to elementor from last 2 year. I think wait till spectra pro version launch.
Great content, in spectra, there is a Slider function, but i cannot create the slider to be in Full Width, Slider with different Background images. Hope you can make a video how to do it.. Thanks
Can i combine Spectra and Kadence blocks?
It looks VERY much like Elementor. I like the fact that the creators emphasize that it is built as a part of Gutenberg and Wordpress and there should be less compatibility issues than I seemedo be having with Elementor. Do you know if I can create a full blog site meaning it has the free blog build functions that free Elementor has locked out. Can I build my own header and footer?
Could someone help me please? I have set up my new blog and wanted to make the blogposts somewhat more beautiful. I installed Spectra because I thought I can use it in the Gutenberg editor. Does it not work like that? Thanks!

Hi. I've seen your video, tested it...but Kadence is much better. Spectra feels like it is at the beginning or just like a free plugin
This is a road/product Elementor should have taken when Gut was announced!
Kadence Blocks now has some real competition.
My only criticism/concerns that is a product from brainstorm force... Who from personal experience don't have the best support team.
Should we switch to Gutenberg?? Or have to wait? Currently using Elementor. What's your opinion?
It depenss on the type of sites you build. For me personally, I've switched away from Elementor for most projects unless they require more complex dynamic functions.

I just finished a site that I had started with Oxygen Builder and then moved (redid it) to Gutenberg with Stackable and Spectra blocks. After a while, it became a breeze to use and the site looks great and is fast. I use Blocksy Pro for the theme. I am done with all the other builders. It has been liberating.
Sir, it seems Gutenberg and its addons are becoming like page builders.
But the development of Gutenberg is very slow..
Spectra indeed will make work easier for those interested in Gutenberg and i am sure in future they will come up with dynamic data integration.

Elementor has forgotten innovations.
Thats why I have moved from Elementor to Bricks Builder.
Great free plugin, but since version 2.0 still a lot of small bugs.

It’s not necessary, no. But it can be useful to use tools by the same company for comparability purposes.

Yup, they did. But, I guess as this is a continuation of Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg, they'd reuse the same assets.

Is Brainstorm Force an Indian company? Isn't India a supporter of the Russian regime by buying bloody oil and attending military exercises in Russia?
