The Arkansas State Police trooper Shane Caviness was a total sweetheart working this. But the county deputy was a total dickhead he could’ve let the family take the vehicle without towing it. Hell the family just lived down the road. Much respect to Trooper Shane Caviness we need more guys like him instead of the county deputy in Law Enforcement!

I grew up with the best dad…but he was an alcoholic. It got the best of him when I was just 17. He was smart, had a good job, but he was drunk by bedtime..every night. I hate the smell of liquor. I saw what his drinking did to mum. My heart goes out to the daughter…don’t live with it like my family did. Get help, if not for her, do it for yourself.

Good for Trooper Caviness for developing into the type of person he is. Most Law Enforcement Officers have very little MH training. It has always been that way.

Sorry for commenting twice but I’m so triggered by this abusive woman. I wonder why her family would get in a car with this drunk woman and let her continue to drink while they were in the car. I know why because she gave them no choice. She’s abusive. Good for the cops for telling them it’s not okay what she’s doing to them. She needs a harsh reality check. She needs jail time. Her program is not working. Her telling that officer “you do it!” in regards to her putting her shoes on made me sick. A narcissist mother is hell. I pray this girl gets away from her and that her husband sets some strict boundaries. Coddling this woman is the worst thing that could happen to her and their family.

This woman is all over the place. Her speech is slurred and the rapid mood swings give it away. She's plastered. She's pulling the senior citizen card to cover up her intoxication and she's exaggerating her story. The movements she's making are indicative of absolutely no severe back injuries. Jail. Period. She was a danger to the public as well as herself.

Many alcoholics have a certain look...the way their lips curl and pucker, the shape of their face is distorted. It's like your dentist tells you, "don't lose your teeth or your face will cave in." Of course not in all cases, but it seems I have little doubt, this woman can slam them down with the best of them. She is a well advanced case and most likely, been abusing alcohol for a VERY long time. Sad to see this addiction destroy so many lives...

The audio was a little muddled, but did I understand her to say that "they"(?) had given her Versed (a sedative), and then (or at a different time?) took a "handful" of Gabapentin (anti-convulsant)?!! This medication has a very bad track record of horrid side effects as prescribed. I can only imagine how close she came to death or self-harm after a handful. Also, it has been prescribed for other conditions besides epilepsy and related illnesses. My mother was prescribed Gabapentin for pain of unknown origin and baseline dementia, and started having hallucinations. Further, she didn't have epilepsy or convulsions. This woman here is all over the place in her affect that seems to be embellished with more than just alcohol. And no, I'm not a medical professional, but have had years of experience with the caretaking of my mother, studying, etc. I hope, for her sake, that someone intervenes and gets her the help that she needs, especially separating her from that Gabapentin.

Trooper did a great job. Can’t say much about county mounty there and his lack of training and the green shirt with an attitude. You could tell He was pissed He up showed him and He was mad. The trooper was helping country and didn’t even get a thank you in the end. All in all He could have taken control oh the scene since it started on the state Hwy first. Just saying. So sorry I confused NST with Texas Law Enforcement---had just watched one of their videos. I want to visit all those states-OK, Arkansas, NM, Louisiana, TX. I love the videos you all put out, and seeing green grass, trees budding makes me so envious since Minnesota is still buried in snow. I still say she needs total deliverance from demons. The whole family is affected, yet until she hits bottom or dies, kills someone if drinking, they will suffer.

So what if the trooper who had just come from a fatal car accident was apparently a bit rude to a drunk driver who managed to drive off the road and hit a tree and shift blame to anyone but herself. What if the caller totally exaggerated the facts to the 911 operator? How was it dispatched to E-16? Can you see why he went as hard as he did now? That was the information given to him.
