"It creeped more than a pedophile down the street from you." Now that was out of pocket 😂
*Lot of info, great info, but I need info on manifolds for a 2jzge vvti engine. I don't plan on having a turbo bigger than 64mm, and only plan on 500-550hp daily driver.*
50mm straightgate is pretty sweet, we plan on designing for it.
I purchased the PHR S23 from RS based on your recommendation years back. During the processing, RS Moe notified me that PHR was upgrading the merge collector to Billet to negate the cracking issues associated you spoke on. Running dual Precision 46 WGs. The trumpets you were referring to, I believe, are velocity stacks. I also purchased the intake manifold you bought for the auto, w/ the velocity stacks. Note: I'm putting all this into a decently clean G35 Coupe. Would to drop it off for you to review once completed. You aren't to far away as I'm in the DMV area.
I'm going to be running the SPA topmount cast T4div manifold with a PSR Gen3 3584 T4div.85A/R turbo with a turbosmart wg45 hypergate on it. From the ppl I've talked to running that manifold there's no boost creep at all
I am currently going with the Artec V Band and that exact turbo (6870). I agree after all the research and chat with my mechanic, this is the middle ground and probably keep me happy for a long time! Good video and awesome Supra content!
Great video and really well covered!
Great video. With some good information!
Good stuff, I have a future fab manifold with twin gates. We will see how well it holds. I like the fact that they offer a life time warranty if you are the original buyer.
Great explanation
Nice video. Wish you covered the SPA turbo top mount and the 6boost manifolds. You mentioned the phr cast sounds like a stock twin car... wonder if I should go for that if I'm after a stealthy setup
Awesome, I moved from a supra store open to an Artec Twin and fell in love with the better response. Just a solid manifold. 1040whp on 30psi
what turbo you running? 78mm?
7273
But I also had race porting and polishing done on the head so the flow was really good
@@kanaka-sound damn nice, real efficient at that power with 30psi
Hey Ryan I just was just curious if the hot side intercooler piping from the old PHR cast manifold worked with the newer manifold you installed? Thanks for the great content!
VWR out of like 5 I've had idk about low boost though cause I'm at 20 minimum usually 30-40
ive got a GE w-58 swapped from auto, full tomei xpreme 4" exhaust with 4"midpipe, mishimoto radiator. what do you recommend my next step be toward building the engine for na-t? i know the w-58 wont hold a lot of power but ill swap it out down the road. appreciate the videos, love all of the info!
@16:07 cam't the adjustable cams be used to shift that power band a little ?
When you dropping in the aa80e?
whats the difference between the s45 and s23 manifolds?
Hi, what are your thoughts on the borg warner s2000 series turbo running 93 octane, t4 logstyle manifold (cast)? Goals are 400HP with forged internals for reliability.
Also, whats your opinion on reverse mount manifolds?
What kind of manifold hardware would you go with using the cast iron manifold @13:29 ??
Is a cast manifold gonna make much difference in spool though?
Those “trumpets” are velocity stacks.
I have the Powerhouse S45 and it's Amazing! I used to have a Suprastore open T4 and that boost creeped all day long and that was a nightmare, even my forst eBay chinese T4 I had on the car years ago was better than that one.
Bro what's ypir supra pant code ?.is it the 199?
I bought one of those MCC intakes and I hope it doesn't give me any problems
I bought it and have been running it on my Supra without a single issue, flawless.
I'm biased but artecs the best
I bought an spa turbo manifold and intake manifold but I’ve yet to install them
I would like to know your thoughts on spa when you get to it
@@dominicthegreat6119 I got the T4 manifold design but I’ll keep you posted
What about the PHR S45 manifold
I think that’s for 1,200hp or more
artec manifold costs more then a billet one in the UK
Which one has the least lag? V-band or twin scroll?
Twin scroll best for lag, v band is best for total flow (aka more power)
Cant do a turbo manifold comparison w/o the "thick" chinese manifold that ALOT of people run
i dont get that there are now flow charts on any manifolds. Please someone tell me why to choose the 3000usd instead of a 500usd
After u buy the 500.00 dollar manifold 4 times in 2 years . You might as well buy the 3k manifold
@@bigjdm5460 but why would you do that. A powerhoseracing manifold is 500 usd. and never heard any have issues
You had all these manifolds and no BPA? I'd say you are missing out on the best.
Ebay turbo manifolds. Can sound great. Hold power. Seen 1400+ through an auto from a friend. Single gate simplicity. Ive used it on gte, ge. Held boost. Ive had with s363, s257sxe, precision 6266, garrett g35-1050.
Ive also had log manifolds, sounds like shit.
Ive had a futurefab $1700 manifold and sounds like a damn 350z but great quality.
Miggy built manifold... anyone?
If you think your old manifold creeped bad my VWR hits 25psi with a 13psi spring. When my tuner asked what manifold i was running he literally said, "the guys that run those manifolds aren't worried about low boost" 😂
Haha nice yea I have it. But I've never ran under like 20psi to know
@Darkside-gd1om we where trying to set up my pump gas tune, if I run pump now it's because I just need to get home and there was no E. I spoke to VWR about and he said if I want anything lower I have to just run a very light spring.
