- The plan was to paddle three weirs on the Reuss from Lucerne. The weir in Lucerne was completely flooded, however, and the water simply went straight through without the slightest wave. The second weir was impassable because the dam elements were completely raised out of the water. I therefore decided at short notice to change rivers: Klein Emme from Wolhusen!

Self draining is THE way to go!
It is definitely VERY comfortable! If I compare it with the Rush, where I sometimes had to empty the water every 500m, then that is a huge advantage. I think with the Rush 1 and the Safari I can cover a wide range, from active paddling on the lake to medium whitewater!

Hallo, vielen Dank für die Blumen! Evtl. war es ein wenig grenzwertig, da alleine zu fahren 🥶. Geht nur noch knapp als "Kajak-Tour" durch 😋👍

Jo ist definitiv so! Ich habe das Video genau analysiert, auch in Zeitlupe. Ist ja immer gut wenn ein Kipper so gut dokumentiert ist, für eine Video-Analyse 🙂 Das Problem war, dass die kleine Welle unten nicht konstant da war, sondern rauf und runter "gepumpt" hat, darum habe ich die gar nicht gesehen. Da hat mir ehrlich gesagt auch ein wenig die Erfahrung gefehlt. Bis WW2 ist OK, aber das ist evtl. bereits ein WW2+ oder kurze WW3 Stelle?
@@cubixmovie mach mal ein paar Übungen mit eine Hartschalenkajak, da kannst die Technik perfekt lernen und dann auf das Safari übertragen. Bin ja auch mit dem alten Safari durch Albanien gereist und hab davon paar Videos hochgeladen. Und das ist noch instabiler, weil es keine so ausgeprägte Kante wie das neue hat. Viele Grüße
