Thanks for the video, Peter! Kudos for doing a fantastic job of displaying the use of the two separate channels including the use of an almost obligatory attenuator for the Lead Channel. I also own an almost identical Imperial Mark I, right down to the same aqua blue color. I've owned mine now for over 10-years, and I'm still discovering new sounds with it each and every day, so I'm truly sorry to hear that you're selling it. The Imperial is just an incredible amplifier, and yours looks to be in fantastic shape too, so I'm quire sure that wherever you are, its long since been sold. Cheers!

Really nice demo of an incredibly special amplifier! I own one of these as well, it's the Mark 1 not the mark 2 which actually I prefer. I did however change out the speaker to a gold celestion 40-watt alnico and it made all the difference in the world! Thanks for the upload and really nice playing!

I did the same with the speaker and was totally satisfied with it. but the gold 12' is 50 watts . no ?
also I have the mark II. what do you prefer in the Mark 1 , I'm curious to know ?

@@moshezarviv1252 yeah I'm just not a fan of the power attenuator that they came up with.

I own the very same amp and mine came in Black. I don't think there's a better amplifier out there for the clean tones. It's got the chime and it just sounds so organic and beautiful. The lead channel on the other hand is damn near useless unless you got an attenuator. It's brutally loud and really hard to control. It sounds great if you"re at gig and you can turn it up but it home I use several different Distortion boxes to get the same results. To me this is the best amp out there in the 20 watt range
