You could use a ceramic hole saw bit on your still instead of a wood bit may have been a little easier to make hole. Beautiful fountain I think I may try this!👍👍

Well you might be right but this just an idea i shared and i think yes, a shallow dish will work fine.

Really pretty. But I can't do it since I can't locate the clay pieces.
Then use plastic ones, paint them the color you want using a water based paint non toxic to birds and such, be sure when you put your pump into the stand that you also fill it with rocks as well as the rest of the display so the wind doesn't tip it over or out of place. If you haven't already you can locate this type of pottery in places that sell pottery like statues of deer or frogs and turtles, displays of all kinds made out of clay decor for your yard, they get these things from Mexico and could probably order you the set, its a little pricey but that's totally up to you.. Even flea markets in your town or bigger towns nearest to you have these type of things for your yard for cheaper

It seems to me that they are two different types of pumps.
The one in the video looks like a submersible pump, while the one that they link to
is an aquarium pump.
Ted, since the China virus it has been hard to get almost any kind of pump. Look hard and find the one that suits your needs.
Ted, i used the same pump as shown. I used a simple submersible water pump ( can also be used as aquarium power head ).

You could have at least shown how to reconnect the wires safely after cutting the plug off before assembling and put it on a large paver to present it better it’s nasty looking like is been dumped without much thought
