People: "Haha look at that silly bear walking around."
Bear: "My front paws were injured and I now live a life of endless agony."
Yeah it's pretty disturbing when you realize it's actually a injury, when i first saw those videos i tough it was funny but then i saw this one and i feel like i'm evil :/
@@youngspunky2835 - the worst part is fish and wildlife not helping him. They just say he is injured and move on. That's why he or she is so skinny because they cant hunt without their front paws
“We wish him well”
Ignoring his injuries with approaching winter is cruel.
It's okay I don't think the approaching winter will affect the bear from 8 years ago
Don’t bears hibernate he would be sleeping along time without food likely heal and carry on life as crippled
Wishing him well won't do much good now, He is dead someone shot him like a year-and-a-half ago.
I think the recent videos of bears walking like this explain all the bigfoot sightings. There are even bigger bears walking around like this and I can see how people seeing them could tell they are not human but not recognise they are bears, especially at night or in the darkness of a forest through trees. Instead, they'd think they were some weird unknown creature, a bigfoot hairy ape creature.
I just made a comment about this too! This explains a lot of them, especially when most sightings were recorded with a phone that was capable of producing the same video quality a potato would. A bear walking around on its hind legs recorded in that quality could easily pass as “Bigfoot”.
well it could explain SOME big foot sightings but not the ones that really were bigfoot sightings.
If he has such serious injuries on his feet shouldn’t someone capture him just to give him medical help? He has to be in pain.
Sunshine unfortunately somebody shot and killed him about a year ago. I wish someone tranquilized him and helped him. A lot of people referred to him as “Pedals” I think there’s a few articles about him. I live somewhat near the area.
@🌟HAWG! There are species of animals that are altruistic towards other animals, even if they aren't the same species. Whales have protected people from sharks, for instance. Humans are especially altruistic towards animals. We capture, heal, rehabilitate, and release injured animals all the time. There would be absolutely nothing wrong with capturing and giving medical treatment to a bear. The notion that you should "let nature run it's course" is not a valid excuse to not help an animal. If you were to say that bears are dangerous and nobody had the proper tools or training to capture that particular bear, it would be valid. Otherwise, please don't buy into the whole "I can't help cause it's just nature" thing. There's nothing wrong with any species on this planet wanting to help a different one.
@🌟HAWG! Well That is life, but now the scales have been tipped. There is now over 7 BILLION PEOPLE in the world and the number of animals that can be eaten and is safe to eaten has decreased in numbers. If we dont try to take care of it then once every animal in world is gone we will be eating grass. By saving a bear it is like allow it to continue to do its part in mother nature.
Agreed! If you see an animal in distress,
you should be calling the proper agencies
that can give him medical attention,
& then have him released back out into the wild.
Poor guy! 😟
I hope someone was able to help him with his paws and if not, I just hope he healed and made a full recovery 😭🖤

Omg. Look at his body so thin.

That is actually normal. Especially if you take into account that he probably burns more fat having to support his entire bodyweight walking on his hind legs which would also cause him to use his abdominal muscles more than a normal bear. He isn't an unhealthy skinny' or emaciated. Their would have been some sort of professional stepping into help if that were the case. Also, it seems he has already healed and has been that way for a while which is the reason they didnt step in to help with those injuries. There is nothing they could do that could significantly improve his situation and would have caused unnecessary stress and more harm than good.
Imagine: going to New Jersey only to end up seeing a weird bear walking like humans
I know people are looking these videos up after the Chinese allegations lol

Bro Imagine seeing this bear walking upright through the woods for a brief second. Bruh I honestly wouldn’t blame people if they thought they saw Bigfoot or a freaking Skinwalker! 💀💀
I feel like this is a very good piece of evidence to suggest Bigfoot is not real and that this might be what people are seeing when they say they've seen "Bigfoot".
It’s scary at first, but after you’ve seen it a few times, it’s just weird.
Then you find out it’s because his front paws are injured, then it’s just sad and tragic.
Then you realize they don’t intend to help him, and then it’s really upsetting.

Similar instances of injured bears, large grizzlies in particular, could be where sasquatch sightings originated from. From a distance, that did not look like a bear. Poor thing, I hope its either doing well or its suffering is ended
It’s a sun bear that escaped from the zoo
They're.... evolving....

The bear is obviously trying to blend in to society, he realize if you walk upright and fake an injury people will just except him? Never mind the bear thats just Vinny he lives a round the corner up in the woods, he comes to get his daily snack and off he goes , by the way he is 3 years old and harmless to people, also, don't go into the woods at night, why? Because Vinny and his brother may eat your ass!!! LOL!!!!

That's what I was gong to say. But then he is black, so you know how that can go sometimes.
Instead of making news, they could have helped him medically.
He should have been subdued, taken to an animal hospital, and treated for his damaged front paws.
@@Cerph Its front right paw looks mangled/amputated from whatever accident it had. The bear would still walk on two legs...capture and release can be traumatic for wild animals. With a bear living this close to people, we don't want to make an already injured bear more anxious. And if they release him somewhere else, he'll just get out-competed and die. This bear relies on scavenging human waste. Sad as it is, if they mess with him they are not helping.

Pedals appears to have been killed in October 2016 in New Jersey's first sanctioned bow and arrow hunt in four decades. During the hunt, which also included muzzle-loading rifles, a total of 562 bears were killed.
Bear: “Maybe if I walk like a human they’ll think I’m one of them”
I don't know about injuries to his pawS, but it doesn't have a right paw specifically, from a wrist down. So probably it's just easier for it to walk on 2 than on 3 paws. So it doesn't have to be in pain, it might just lost the single paw.
The bear needs help! He can't use his paws
@@Robeburtson I think they were talking about how the hosts started laughing....
Vinny is a so cool. I'm suprised that the state of NJ does not trap and capture him just to provide rehabilitation in this situation.
They can't anymore. He survived a few winters, but the city expanded a bear hunt area and he was among the casualties. ):
Imagine going out for fresh air and seeing an almost human creature walking around your backyard, barely visible to see it but not enough to identify it
When people joke about animals acting like humans
It’s a bear, as damaged as it’s paws are they will heal, “all wounds heal in time.”
Plus, it’s a bear, it’s the video game tank of the real life wild.
Bears can take a heck ton of damage and just walk away acting like it’s just a flesh wound.
So when a bear walks around, Bigfoot probably hired it to walk on 2 feet to throw off his sent.
Maybe a monke once injured his hands about 2 million years ago and thought: hey, this aint so bad...
We just had a sighting at our local play ground. At first the kids and I thought we had some creep hiding behind the bushes in a black hoodie watching us. It crept down then stood up and walked off fast into the woods. Then I kept thinking about it we live in an area highly populated with bears . I looked back at the picture I tried taking of it and now I'm certain it was a younger bear.
good to hear it was just a harmless bear and not some creepy child predator hanging around lurking in behind bushes in the playground.

Injured bears are actually even more of a risk to humans. With winter approaching, he could get desperate for food and start breaking into houses or cars or rummaging through trash to find an easy meal.
If he’s so injured that he’s completely changed his way of walking, he might also change his way of foraging and doing other bear things. It seems like it’s time for authorities to step in.
