Blood orange is amazing on you! It'll fade out to such a pretty coral too!
Me watching stella dye her hair this bright ass color while putting in sparkly brand new jewelry first, wearing a crisp white shirt and light wash jeans: 👁👄👁
I’ve never seen you do yellow hair, not blonde but yellow! My daughter just had hers done yellow today with bright pink roots and it is so amazing. She had shoulder length hair that when she gets it cut she tells her hairdresser to “imagine I’m having a breakdown in the middle of the night and I attacked my hair with scissors”. It’s the most amazing look ever…..
Totally giving Jessica Rabbit vibes! It's stunning for someone who can wear ALL colors well.
Oh my god, i thought the same thing
I thought the same! ❤️🧡
I think it is a culture thing...As a Swedish person, people only call their parents mom or dad. Calling them by their first names is kinda weird to me. Because calling your parents by their name was only a thing 40 or so years ago here. It's not just an American thing, in many cultures it is rather disrespectful to call them by their first names. In a lot of settings using a persons first name can be disrespectful, like speaking to someone above you. That is why many people don't call their parents by their first name (same with grandparents). And for the thing about saying "son". That isn't really just a thing you call your own son. It is rather normal (in the US not in Sweden) for elderly men to call younger guys "son", and it's also tied to the military (in my opinion calling soldiers son is a little odd). People don't walk around saying "daughter", it is strictly just the term son used. (if you are American and can explain it better pls do as it isn't a part of my culture :3) Keep in mind using the term father can also be a religious thing, as Father is what people call their Priest and is quite common depending on the church. :)
We had a discussion about this once in one of my college English courses. Calling someone “son” or “boy” is a subtle way to establish your authority over them. That’s why a lot of elderly men or parental figures use it; it’s a reminder that they’re in a “higher” position than you simply because they’re older than you. It implies they’re wiser/more responsible/more knowledgeable and therefore you should respect them and do as they say. You’ll notice it used mostly when someone is trying to scold, redirect, or give advice to another. You’ll also hear a lot in tv shows/books/entertainment the rebuttal of “I’m not your son” as a response. It’s basically the same as saying, “you’re not the boss of me/I don’t have to listen to you”. You don’t really hear anyone call women or girls “daughter” because it’s assumed that you’re already above them just because of the fact that they’re women. Whereas boys are seen as men and take ownership over themselves once they turn 18, traditionally women are seen as the property of their fathers until they are married and then become property of their husbands; therefore they don’t need reminders that someone else is still above them, so to speak.
I also agree with you about how you refer to your parents - it would seem rude to call them by their actual names. To me, my dad’s name IS Daddy (I’m from the south). It’s the only thing I’ve ever called him and the only thing I ever will call him. Even my mother, who is not in my life and hasn’t been for almost 20 years, is still “Mom” or “Momma” to me. I wouldn’t call her by her first name, even being estranged. It seems disrespectful. I’ve always assumed that people that call their parents by their first names were raised as entitled children that always get everything they asked for and have no regard for others.
Agree.
@@kaileerenae9719 Are you from South in the US or from South Sweden?
You call your mom and dad by first names? Heck no! 😂My mom or dad would be mad if I did that. My kids only call me by my first name to be silly/cheeky. Generally the rule is older relatives you go by title (like mom, grandma, auntie Stella), but younger relatives you call by first name (not niece, daughter, granddaughter).
This color is stunning❤❤❤❤
Good thing she’s not you then isn’t it
@@VVEREVULF I didn’t mean it in a bad way just confirming what she said about us not using names for parents
This hair cut suits you sooo well 🤍✨
My husband is from US and I’m from South America and that was a shock for me hahaha I think it’s weird that calling someone by their first name is disrespectful, but you’re guys are used to it, right?
Same in Denmark
Stella is whole dang vibe!!! I always love how positive she is. Even when things don’t work out the way she planned she is still excited.
We could all learn how to be our biggest hype-persons.❤
This looks stunning!
Keep doing you Stella ❤️ I’ve watched you for like the past 3 years, and I can notice a lot of growth and maturity this year from you, and I think it’s paying off! Loving your content ❤️
It's like there's an inner fire to your hair. It is actually *glowing*! ❤
On the subject of parents: I'm in the American South and I've never known anyone to call their parent by a given name, unless they were being intentionally disrespectful or trying to provoke them. I'm sure there must be some who do, but I'm almost 61, have lived in 3 states, worked with people from all over the country, and have never heard it. Of course, here in the south, 80+ year old men and women are still known to call their fathers daddy 😉
i worked at the same place as my mom for a while when i was 18 and had to call her by name, so it became natural to me to just do the same with everyone else, including my grandparents 😅
Same here in Germany. I know barely any people who call their parents by their given name... we say "Mama" and "Papa" (Mom and Dad) and some even say "Mutter" and "Vater" (mother and father) depending on where they're from. It's even not to uncommon to say "boss" instead of calling them by their last name... (well it's called "Chef" in Germany but anyways). And of course it depends on how people have been raised and told to call their parents, but most people would disrespect their parents by calling them by their name. On the other hand my aunt never wanted me to call her aunt, she always told me to call her by her name and we are more like sisters rather than niece and aunt. But that was down to personal preference of her, my other aunt wanted me to call her aunt, so I did.
I have to admit I always feel uncomfortable when someone calls their parents by their given name 🙈
@@mbarbier7197 Same lol! I've had to refer to my mother by her first name in work settings so many times, it's just the norm now. I rarely call her mum, mainly only when I'm trying to annoy her, it's always her first name
I always called my mother, “ mom or mommy.” I had a grandmother, granny, & a maw maw ❤ Now, they’re all in Heaven together.
Beautiful rich color hair! Most cultures must call parents mom/dad out of respect for them. Same for aunt and uncle, grandma and grandpa. It's interesting that some cultures don't .
So glad you are feeling Stella again! It is never completely fulfilling trying to do what you think you should do 😘✨
I have done coral with manic panic and I mixed cotton candy with psychedelic sunset. It was one of my favorite colours to do on top of my ginger hair.
You’ve never dyed your hair yellow though?
When she had her hot root phase, she did bright neon yellow, orange, red, and neon green
no, but she died a wig yellow once
She did
Interesting
So she died a wig yellow and had yellow roots but I mean full yellow.
Coral and rose gold are some of my favorite colors alongside teal and lilac.
I actually really love the starting strawberry copper color❤.
The Emerald green was iconic👌
I just wanted to say that copper tone you had at first suited you amazingly, I also love the result
Warm colour hair really makes your eyes pop
It’s like an autumn shade of a warm red, coral has peach and pink in it
Holy cow girl that is incrediblely intense blood orange is amazing. love it!
Love the red gloves babes and you look like a fairy 🧚🏻♂️❤️
I loved the copper tone, you had before ❤
Wow, that lip gloss!! What a nice smile on the close ups!! Jealousssss
I feel like it would be more coral if it had a pink base rather than a berry or red, but it is stunningly beautiful. Every color looks good on you.
I called my mom once by her name...Never again 😅😅😅😅😅
THIS LOOKS SO GOOOOOD ☺️❤️❤️ the gloves match perfectly haha it’s so satisfying!
I love the color it looks amazing on you if you want to dye your hair coral the best is to mix pink with yellow that will give you an amazing coral color
STUNNING...such a beautiful vibrant colour...very Autumn feel...I still would love to see a pinkish coral...but this blood orange is gorgeous🧡🧡🧡🧡
Wait? You call your parents by their first names?
This is so weird for me haha from where I come from, some parents won't even answer If their kids don't call them mother/father/mom/dad!
u gotta do another one of them ASMR dying my hair or styling my hair videos, bc it was such a cool one
I think the Copper Hair before fits u very well. 😊 But its both gorgeous! ❤
this hair color with your eyes is giving Ariel vibes🫢
Hair care routine please Stella 😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Love this color, I've had it so many times!
In my experience, (I'm American haha) kids will almost always call their parents Mom and Dad, or synonyms of those words, but parents will usually call their kids by their names, so will grandparents.
This is such a beautiful blood orange color, it looks amazing❤️
Coral is more of a pastel pinky orange colour so I think to get coral you will need to add conditioner or a product which makes the colour more pastel (Manic Panic do make a product that does this) to the mix.
I haven't finished the video yet but the golden/copper hair you have in the beginning is soo beautiful and is totally your color
ok but i havent watched the video yet cause the white t shirt, jewellry and you hair just natural and unstyled WOWWW ITS A LOOK im getting masculine vibes and i love it
Hair care routine please Stella 😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
love the orange!
Your make-up is just amazing u should do videos abt ur eyeliner is gorge and u rock the color u go girl
looovee this hair length on you!
looking stunning as always ❤
I love you hair cut Stella. Only you can pull it off and look absolutely gorgeous.
Stella is one of these people that grow into their looks. She always looked older and still looks a little older but she is stunning and as soon as she reaches 30 she will sweep us all off our feet
Wait? You haven't had a certain color!😱I thought you had done everything under the sun!!btw this carmely gold you have now is the best I ever seen reminds me of the seventies.
This colour with your eye colour oh my god!! Makes them pop so much
Love this 🔥
Stella, your hair before dying it was so beautiful, strawberry blonde is perfection on you. The is also gorgeous. I really believe you were meant to be a redhead.
IT IS SO SHINY!
Can't believe you use that jewelry 😊 so do I. I love their jewelry
ABSOLUTE FIRE! Omg, that color. And you wearing it 😍
To answer her your question about not calling your parents their first names here in the US, no we don’t. It’s considered disrespectful in many of the cultures here. It grandparents don’t go around saying grandson, they would use their grandson’s name.
Love the short hair. So stylish
(11:18) As an American, I can say that I find it odd too lol. But I do address my parents as Mom & Dad and they call me by my name. I guess in America it's kind of disrespectful to address your parents by their names, usually people who have a bad relationship with their parent(s) and don't want to address them as such (or just be disrespectful) might call them by their actual name.
Hello Stella!🥰 you look stunning as always!✨️💜
I rarely comment on videos but this is from my heart!! I am a 14 year old girl with a similar hairstyle as yours. And I got a wolfcut last year didnt like it and then cut it myself! ( or with a hairstyle I have no idea heheheh). And i feel so light right now! I feel very nice since I never had a hairstyle like it and I feel like I have a lot more freedom in myself and my confidence because I came to the realization oh hell yeah I can do what I want with my hair!!! Yeah im currently growing it out to a bob so i can do more stuff with it ( but im also contemplatimg going the opposite direction and getting a buzzcut ). I do get some nasty backhanded remarks just because of hair and I was asked if I was lesbian ( I am an asexual lol ) after I cut my hair and a bit mocked but I dont give a shit my hair is my canvas. You have been an inspiration and made me realize one thing fashion is not supposed to siminsih your " bad features " fashion is there for you to fully express yourself and I love it because of that. So thank you love from a soon to be hair curling, dying, painting doing whatever it takes to make it look incredible fanatic just like you!
Oh I really just wrote a short essay on this comment section, but oh well :)
Love it….love original, vibrant colors. One of my favs on you since you started, no joking. 😊
🤍 Stella I know you’re hair queen but you should do some makeup tutorials! And what is this lip you’re wearing at the end?
Your makeup at the beginning of the video is so beautiful
Gorgeous 😍
I thought too that with your copper hair the color will be more orange than red, I didn't expect this results, but still it's a beautiful color on you Stela
gorgeous!! I've also been dying my hair since I was 14! so 8 years haha
I love the orange on you i am sad that you put the new color in. It's still beautiful but the light orange i love it on you. I wish you kept it a bit longer.
All colors looks good on you!
My inner self ( why did she change from black to white)
looking at the whiteness of the shirt is so damn scary itself 😅
Looking stunning 🤩 Stella as always❤😊
For hair colors, I like how the warm tone red looks ^u^ so cool
To call your parents by their first “given” names is considered disrespectful in America. We call our Mothers “Mom” and our Fathers “Dad”. Grandparents usually choose their nickname (Gigi, Grandma, Grandma, Mom-Mom, Grandpa, Grandad, and Pop-pop) are all the common ones. Bc you have two sets they usually will differ the names to help if they are both in your life.
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Been here a long time ❤❤❤❤
This will fade out beautifully ❤ loved it
I'm loving this growout length! ❤️
Firebrand! Fire and ice! Oh yes!
I'm in the UK and people do not call their parents by their given names it's mum/dad or I'm from a place where mam is appropriate. Same for grandma grandad or nanna
yes in america we call our parents mom and dad. we never use their real names thats very strange to me
The hair is so shiny! ❤❤❤
The formulation probably needed pink. Maybe when it fades a bit, you can put straight pink over it to get a coral shade
Stella you have had some kind of red and orange and yellow tone hair I have seen it. Well I love it anyway no matter what color it is
I don't think there is another culture in Europe where children call their parents by their name. Malta might be the only one 🤪😎
Dear, could you eventually tone a black hair? Turn it redish, bluish, with a purple reflex in the sun 😅 idk, just curious
You look fabulous the color really suits you
Your hair looked fine queen
I think you should of mix the orange with pink to get it coral cause the colour you used with the orange was to red base.
You did coral when you colour removed the blue & purple
Looking great Stella, you’ve not tried yellow nor lilac but correct if wrong, the blood orange 🍊 is stunning
Love this color, and the fit reminds me of Jessica Rabbit. And no, calling my mother by her first name would get me a slap in the face. I call my mom, “mama”
Who's singing this 'where are you' R&B song? I like it!!
It looks stunning!
Such a beautiful color!
Wow wow wow! I love it
Love it! Stunning!
That's so interesting! i've always called my parents by mum/dad, and they call me by my name, so it's very weird to me that someone would call their parents by their name :o
Need to know how you style your hair!!! Have the same hair length and my hair already looks so UGLYYYY!!! Maybe cause I have wavy hair 🥲
Love 💕 your videos ❤❤❤
The only time I saw my dad worried about someone's mental health was when he saw his friend's child call him and his wife by their names and not "mother" and "father" hahahaha
Stunning as always!
yessss im all about the redocrating of the ears content bro
❤❤❤❤ I love love love it 😍
I call my mom for mom. It’s called «mamma» in Norwegian. And my dad for dad. It’s «pappa» in Norwegian ❤️
I will try emerald green tommorow 😅💋
You look so beautiful ❤️ I'm so happy for you ❤ love ya!
Little mermaid hair!
it's giving "Ariel tired a Pixie"
I mean it's manic panic so you'll hit coral in a wash or two, no?
I call my mom and dad Mom and Dad. I'm 51 and in the states. I call my kids by their names. They call me Mom.
On the side of finger application, I use a brush for all-over color, but my hair is very short (clipper short, #2 at the back and sides #3 or #4 on top) and for a smooth gradient, using xmondo, it was SO EASY to fingertip apply orange at the neck, pink above, purple above that, blue above that and blue/green to get teal at the very top/front and the gradient was SO smooth, just applying in vertical overlapping short finger strokes. Took like, eh, 5 minutes. I switched gloves between pink and purple so the orange wouldn't end up mixing with the purple, and wiped them off between blue and teal.
But I don't have enough hair density to bother splitting into sections at this length.
I love this color on you!!!❤
