All the shortcuts they took during preseason, and in-season have all now caught up with them and the reality is, they probably got very lucky in 2023. That luck was not with them in 2024 and they had zero foundations to fall back on 🤷♂️

Origin one and two should be played at home grounds, the third should be played at the neutral ground. Gagai isn't a hard man, he picked his target, a young bloke and got 3 good hits on Burton but Burton was still standing until Tino from Orange got involved.
My favorite state of origin game is the third because it means this over hyped parochial media circus garbage is over and the the disrupted NRL, which has taken a back seat just when record ratings were being recorded, can take center stage again. @movieklump I sort of agree with you. I like the idea of Origin being stand alone for 3 weeks with other rep games added in. At least then, it's only 3-4 weeks instead of 2-3 months.
