You never saw the movie?! Dude, watch it asap. Jonathan Davis of Korn composed and conducted the entire movie score. The soundtrack had some amazing bands. Disturbed, Korn, Static-X, Deftones, Earshot, Papa Roach, Marilyn Manson and the late Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
This movie had a deadly soundtrack. It’s not KoRn by the way, it’s just Jonathan Davis, and his performances in the movie couldn’t get released due to contractual reasons, so they replaced his vocals in the soundtrack. I am hoping that he eventually gets to release his own version of the soundtrack. I remember the Deftones also had a track in the movie, Change (in the house of flies). Deadly movie for music lovers.
The voice of lestat in the movie is actually a mix of John Davis's voice with several other rock leads of the time. That's what makes the voice so memorable from the movie. Great movie and sou d track btw.
Hell Yeah this is my one of my favorite songs , you did the movie version with Jonathan Davis, you should do the soundtrack version too it has Jay Gordon from one of my favorite bands Orgy doing the vocals because of record label issues Jonathan couldn’t do the soundtrack so he got his friends from other bands to sing on the soundtrack
Thank you for listening!! Korn is my absolute favorite band of all time!! JD also plays a lot of electronic music under JDevil. His solo album is amazing!!
Love Jonathan's Queen of the Damned songs. The video you were watching, they pitch shifted his voice higher than it should be. His solo songs for the movie were: System, Redeemer, Slept So Long, Not Meant for Me and Forsaken. Also, there was a lost track - Careless. I would give this song another listen, but with the voice being normal pitch.
This was a JD solo project. Had nothing to do with Korn. He did a solo tour featuring these songs. You can find the completed movie song compilation he did live for Sirius. Just do a CZcams search for Jonathon Davis Sirius live. He sings live better than the recordings by far. \m/
So this is the version that was in the movie. I actually prefer the one from the soundtrack better, probably because I got the soundtrack the day it came out and I heard Jay Gordon sing it first.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT I can sleep peacefully, rewatching the movie! Thank you sir! Love you and the wifeys reactions! I am a huge fan of both TOOL and BTS. Love I can get both reactions in one channel! 💜💜💜💜
i always thought it was weird how his record deal prohibitied jon from being the album artist. and thus they had to record for the soundtrack all the songs with other singers that were made for him and we dont have his version except in the film
I tried. I found it one time and now I can't find it. a part of me feels crazy like it didn't really exist until you made this comment. Now I know its out there.
Still amazing I am so glad these channels are starting to permeate the site. These songs are vampire goth songs. With straight Vampire goth lyrics. Anne Rice was the inspiration she said if Lestate woke from his slumber after the heartbreak of Louie in the late 80s early 90s when the grunge and post-punk scene were getting traction. He would be a rock star so she wrote a Lestate trilogy and I loved it. The songs are about bordering on gay love affair but I've been there with women having to tell a little more than few. "How did it get this far? Playing games with this old heart,"
React to more Queen of the Damned songs that Jonathan sang! Jonathan wrote 6 songs for the movie but unfortunately, was unable to have his voice on the soundtrack due to his record label forbidding it (Jonathan Davis - System, Redeemer, Not Meant For Me, Slept So Long, Forsaken and Careless). His voice can be heard in the movie though. Technically it's not a Korn song. Jonathan Davis wrote it and had either munky and/or head come in for guitars but had a different bassist and drummer.
Yeah, bud, I'm sure you're going to get hammered enough about this but none of this album was Korn. Jonathan composed most of the movie score and sang (while overdubbed by other singers) on several songs. There was a dispute with Korn's album label and they wouldn't let him appear since the soundtrack was on another label. He "fixed" the problem by dubbing other singers onto his voice on those songs. The whole soundtrack is awesome. BTW, there is a video of him performing with a great band (sitar, violin, drums, guitar, etc.) and doing most of the songs. There are a few posts here on CZcams of the video. czcams.com/video/UFTOemrNNMk/video.html
Pro me tohle byl a je vrchol depresivní a hluboké hudby... V tomhle filmu a v soundtracku, hlavně v soundtrack, protože film byl parodine na intervijum s upírem ale ta hudba? 100% láska

Agree at the very least get the soundtrack, one of the best and atmospheric soundtracks.
i was obsessed with this soundtrack as a 14 year old.
with richard gibbs (dead now)
omg back at this video again.i seem to be in 3 year loop...
@Elliot Alderson Movie is a classic.
This version is meant to sound more raw. Because it’s sang in concert in the movie. So it’s basically a live version
This is probably one of the greatest movie rock album ever
to me one of the best movie soundtracks ever!

surprised dude ain't heard this before "Queen of the Damned" was where I first heard the voice of Jonathon Davis n was like "who dis ???"
FINALLY a fellow BLACK headbanger! Try "Jurrasitol" by Filter.
Yep! I’m in the club too
Watch the movie and listen to the whole soundtrack it’s awesome
Thank you for listening!! Korn is my absolute favorite band of all time!! JD also plays a lot of electronic music under JDevil. His solo album is amazing!!
I seen him in his solo tour twice recently and they played this song at both shows! Great song!
You should do more from this soundtrack. Has some great songs by great artist like Chester, Disturbed, Wayne Static etc.
entire album is very good, especially with JD on vocals. recommend Korn ft. Nas- Play Me!

Love the song and the movie
My top five movie soundtracks, no particular order.
1. Queen of the damned
2. Spawn
3. Forrest gump
4. Strange land
5. Freddy vs jason
You got that right

Its the "Alone I play" album absolutely great album and wish I could of caught one of the shows.
Funny that you say it’s from the QotD soundtrack bc the official soundtrack only features the various artist cover by Jay Gordon
Chester Bennington - system (also in the movie)
So this is the version that was in the movie. I actually prefer the one from the soundtrack better, probably because I got the soundtrack the day it came out and I heard Jay Gordon sing it first.
This is one of the best OST of all time!! Love it!
Brutal soundtrack!
You should react to forsaken it's off the same soundtrack
bro, u r real old-school, like thus!
Here's a suggestion: Camel song by Korn from the End of days soundtrack!
I love the movie
I love this movie. I don't care how many ppl hate it. It was done beautiful to me. Lestat and Akasha King and Queen Forever in my 💜
Just came across this…. Please tell me that you have seen this movie now!!! I’m
Dying to know! The way this is “live” in the movie….. shivers!
Lol, yes. I’ve seen it multiple times since this video.

god brings me back, piano chick was so fucking hot in that movie
Honestly I do not like the movie BUT the soundtrack is amazing! All the songs are excellent, without exception! Great video 😉
I hope this movie gets the 4k treatment.
Sean Olson. Is one of my favs.
Great song, but it's not by Korn really. It's Jonathan Davis and Richard gibbs, and other players. The other members of Korn had no part.
Read the book series by Anne Rice. Beginning with Interview with a Vampire. Wonderful books that make you understand this movie even more
Amazing song.
This song is so awesome but if you could find the ultra rare version without crowd noises in the background you'd enjoy more :)
I tried. I found it one time and now I can't find it. a part of me feels crazy like it didn't really exist until you made this comment. Now I know its out there.
Yep great song and good movie!

I'm the movie this song was written about his creater.
this song is from the point of view of lestat needing to kill humans to survive and hateing him self for it

You gotta watch the film you will understand the song
I highly suggest you check out Dance Gavin Dance. They are in my top three favorite bands.

Rip Aaliyah (the Queen) and singer who died in very young age after 3 months after movie release ...
You should really watch the movie. It’s kind of short and a bit cheesy, but a good movie otherwise, especially if you see the original opening.
React to Linkin Park performing one more light live at Jimmy Kimmel, also react to Cross Off
*I SEE HELL IN YOUR EYES*
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE React to a band called ATOMSHIP either ALIEN, MOTHRA or PENCIL FIGHT they are the BEST band you've probably never heard of
Queen of the Damned is a great example of how a horrible movie can have an amazing soundtrack.
Hahahahaha
Rock is a misunderstood genre. It's the most emo genre in music.
Can you react to "SIC ILL - Epidemic EP 2"

Popkorn anybody?
It’s Jonathan Davis not korn
The movie was crap but the soundtrack was awesome. Same with the book.
