The crew battle started right away without any prelims that's why there is a top 19. After Round 1, 10 crews passed and the judges picked 2 lucky losers from top 19 to form a top 12. After the round 2, 6 crews passed and the judges again picked 2 lucky losers from the top 12 to form a top 8. From there on the bracket evolved in its traditional way until the final.
