How many laws were written? Answer is two. God and Moses wrote laws . God wrote on stone and on our hearts. Moses’ law on paper. God’s law (moral law) was placed in the ark and Moses’ laws (mosaic laws) were placed in a pocket at the side of the ark. The ceremonial law of the mosaic law was what was no ailed to the cross, as that law was pointing to Jesus’ death and resurrection. When Jesus dies, there was no longer a need for the ceremonial law to be kept.
The ceremonial laws got mixed up with Gods feast days which should still be kept. Passover is the most obvious in the New Testament but SDA’s are deceived on this issue
One must ask ones self if the sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments is that not one of the handwriting of the ordinances mentioned in Colossians 2:14. If not please explain yourself

Note the reason I use this Bible is because it is the first one written in English and all other additions accept the KJV, they use it as a template, to write the other additions. More than that it is the closest to the original. Having wiped out the hand written requirements, (talking about the Ten Commandments) That was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross. That doesn’t mean that the commandments are gone, on the contrary if that is so then Jesus would be no more!!! If I’m not mistaken the sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments, right?

The Fourth Commandment is One of God's Ten Commandments. It is clearly stated in the Scriptures that if we break One we break All! God who is Unchangeable,has spoken, and will not alter the things out of His mouth.

Nope, those sabbaths notice the plural, were ceremonial and not part of the Ten Commandments written by God's own finger on tablets of stone. Christ's sacrifice on the cross took away those ceremonial sabbaths and laws, because he fulfilled them all on the cross. God's Moral Law still stands because He came to fulfill the Law and not to destroy it.

Yes, the Sabbath being the last day of the week is no coincidence. It's prophetic of the rest to come in the last day when we enter the true promised land. 2Th 1:6-7 - Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels. Acts 20:7 Also 1 Cor 16:2 is a mistranslation. The word day is italicized. It is therefore not in the original manuscripts. The word "week"in the Greek is Sabbaton. The verse should say " On the first of weeks" Leviticus 23 says that this is "the feast of Weeks". It is the counting of 7 sabbaths after Passover to determine when Shavuot(Pentecost) occurs. Look at the surrounding verse that reference the Feast of Unleavened Bread

Moses wrote on paper, with all his fingers holding a writing instrument, the handwriting of ordinances. Colossians 2:14 Jesus who is God wrote the ten commandments on stone with His finger. Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 9:10.

This is the problem with most of our religion and Sabbath mongers: in the ten commandments the emphasis is not on worship: it's on rest. Every day is a day of worship; but the Sabbath is for REST! Most of this Sabbath debate is a waste of time and energy.
Even Jesus says his father has been working until now, and he Jesus is working. The 7th day Sabbath was given specifically to the children of Israel as a perpetual covenant between God and the children of Israel throughout their generations forever Exodus 31:16. My guilty pleasure is esoteric philosophy. I'm not initiated, nor do I practice, but I think it's important to have a basic grasp of it to recognize certain patterns. When it comes to Sunday, the solar deity is a universal deity. Solar worship has been observed by most ancient civilizations. Even the natives of the America's. The sun is the visual representation of the divine source. Everything depends on it. People don't worship the physical sun, but what it represents. The dead and rising gods of ancient past are based off the sun. In esoteric philosophy, Jesus is also lumped in with them, as the occult is about knowledge being passed down through symbols, religion, and rites. It's not people sitting around saying "hail satan." A symbol that represents the sun, is a point within a circle. You see it in egyptian hieroglyphics. In Greek philosophy, the point within a circle is the monad, the original divine substance. It's interesting that the greeks had a concept of atomic theory. In today's world, atoms resemble the symbolism of the monad. The ancient stone circles are solar calenders. They also are a point within a circle as you have to sit in the middle of them at sunrise to know what day it is based on which stones the sun rises in between. If you look at St. Peter's square in a satellite image, there is a point within a circle. The east and west openings mean something, but I won't get into that. But it is a solar calender no doubt about it. Catholicism is the same veiled religion that's been passed down. Even Eliphas Levi, the creator of the baphomet image, who was a catholic, believed the catholic church held the key. I strayed from the Sabbath for a while, and got into reading about the occult. Pastor Doug Bachelor uses Adam Clark (well respected scholar who was of the highest degree, among evangelicals) to justify sabbath keeping. Even myles shows Doug bachelor using Adam Clark notes about the sabbath, though Clark kept a Sunday sabbath. Here is what Adam Clark says about Romans 14v5👇 We add here "alike", and make the text say what I am sure was never intended. That there is no distinction of days, not even of the Sabbath: and that every Christian is at liberty to consider even this day to be holy or not holy, as he happens to be persuaded in his own mind. That the Sabbath is of lasting obligation may be reasonably concluded from its institution (Romans 14:5- :) and from its typical reference. All allow that the Sabbath is a type of that rest in glory which remains for the people of God. Now, all types are intended to continue in full force till the antitype, or thing signified, take place; consequently, the Sabbath will continue in force till the consummation of all things. The word alike should not be added; nor is it acknowledged by any MS. or ancient version.

Randy, you should unpack Col2v16 and not just declare that it is about feast days without showing how, because most read it saying to them no judgements should be passed on the sabbath issue

In Gen 2:2-3 it specifies what TYPE of work God rested from. (capitalized for emphasis) "And on the seventh day God ENDED his work WHICH HE HAD MADE; and he RESTED on the seventh day FROM ALL HIS WORK WHICH HE HAD MADE. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had RESTED from ALL HIS WORK which God CREATED and MADE." The seventh day was sanctified because God rested from his works of creation on earth. It means he stopped/ ceased from creating on that day. We can agree that God is always at work. Jesus himself said in John 5:17 "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." But the type of work that Jesus was doing was helping and healing those who were in need.
Christ did not abolish His 10 com. Law...which points out what sin is. 1 john 3:4 ..."for sin is the transgression of the law". Christ came, not to change or do away with His law...but to atone for our transgressions against its requirements. Christs death canceled the penalty .. "the wages of sin is death". Romans 8:1 "there is no condemnation to those who are in Jesus Christ". John 3:18.. If God could have solved the sin problem by doing away with His law...then jesus didnt need to die. Jesus' death proves his law could not be done away with. Nothing the law said became untrue once Jesus died. It is still sin to worship other gods, to lie, steal, kill,break Gods sabbath, etc. They are 10 commandments not suggestions. The sabbath was established by God’s word, then His word said that He came to fulfill the law. Fulfillment means to bring to fruition, when Jesus said come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. This is about the fulfillment, but only came when Jesus was crucified. Also when reading individual scriptures you lose the true meaning that the writer’s try to make. One shouldn’t be wise in your own opinions, if the word is written one shouldn’t add to it, teaching opinions as Gods word is adding to the scripture. The law was nailed to the cross, this statement clearly notes that It died with Jesus. You may say that the sabbath was instituted before the Ten Commandments but it is written into the ten so it is part of the ten. The Bible clearly says that they were abolished. Let me ask you a question Mr. Johnson, If you were a soldier and you were given orders to walk a guard post and the very next day a different officer,the officer of the day gave you a new order. What can you expect from a person whom the HOLY SPIRIT has left the soul. By their fruits you will know them.
How many laws were written? Answer is two. God and Moses wrote laws . God wrote on stone and on our hearts. Moses’ law on paper. God’s law (moral law) was placed in the ark and Moses’ laws (mosaic laws) were placed in a pocket at the side of the ark. The ceremonial law of the mosaic law was what was no ailed to the cross, as that law was pointing to Jesus’ death and resurrection. When Jesus dies, there was no longer a need for the ceremonial law to be kept.
The ceremonial laws got mixed up with Gods feast days which should still be kept. Passover is the most obvious in the New Testament but SDA’s are deceived on this issue

The ordinances in Colossian is to do with sacrificial law, given by God to Moses, then Moses wrote it in paper, when Jesus died on the cross, that law/ordinances was nail to the cross, so no more need for sacrifice of animals, because it all pointed to Jesus Christ, the lamb of God who taketh away the sin of the world. Note the reason I use this Bible is because it is the first one written in English and all other additions accept the KJV, they use it as a template, to write the other additions. Nope, those sabbaths notice the plural, were ceremonial and not part of the Ten Commandments written by God's own finger on tablets of stone. Christ's sacrifice on the cross took away those ceremonial sabbaths and laws, because he fulfilled them all on the cross. God's Moral Law still stands because He came to fulfill the Law and not to destroy it.

The sabbath was an example of ceasing from our work and keeping God in control of our lives. Sabbath being an example of eternity with God in the heavenly Canaan

Acts 20:7 Also 1 Cor 16:2 is a mistranslation. The word day is italicized. It is therefore not in the original manuscripts. The word "week"in the Greek is Sabbaton.
The verse should say " On the first of weeks" Leviticus 23 says that this is "the feast of Weeks". It is the counting of 7 sabbaths after Passover to determine when Shavuot(Pentecost) occurs.

In Gen 2:2-3 it specifies what TYPE of work God rested from. (capitalized for emphasis)

The seventh day was sanctified because God rested from his works of creation on earth. It means he stopped/ ceased from creating on that day.
We can agree that God is always at work. Jesus himself said in John 5:17 "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." But the type of work that Jesus was doing was helping and healing those who were in need.

If the Sabbath is done away with and people can worship everyday, even on work days, then why are these people sitting in a church on a Sunday.
