Here are few more hidden features of iOS: 1. Tap on the top edge of your screen to quickly scroll to the very top in almost any application. 2. Shake to undo or redo. 3. Long press the torch button in control center to change the brightness of your flashlight. 4. If you have a habit of listening to music while you are going to bed, you can set a timer in the clock app, and have it stop your music after a specific time, so you don't waste your battery by having the music play all night.
I love how the neural engine predicts my habits and what apps I open in the morning or who I message. I absolutely love what Apple has been doing going back to iPhone X. I miss that 5.8 inch display.
Thank you for a Very informative Video. I learned a lot, and you have a Great Teaching Style. I will definitely be recommending you and your Site and CZcams channel to family and friends.
Scanning right into the body of an email! That is the best! And of course copying and pasting from device to device which has been around for quite a while. Thank you for your awesome videos
Spotlight search is my most used feature…. Especially since you can access it from your Lock Screen it’s the easiest way to jump right into anything you need from alarms to playing a specific song to opening apps
Oo I like Wake (no Focus) vs Sleep (Sleep Focus). Basically my Home Screen icons disappear and Lock Screen wallpaper goes to a sleep-themed one… 😴😴😴😴😴😴
One of my favorite 9to5Mac video shorts, I probably use (overuse??) the PDF creation function and the text translation…I’ve already created several stickers…gotta have a little fun 🎉
Thanks for the tips. Is Live Listen an iPhone Pro only feature? I have got an iPhone 12 Mini and AirPods Pro. The feature is grey for me, I can‘t activate it.
I love Shortcuts! Is that considered a feature? 🤷🏿♀️ Great video! Feature #1 is clutch! I use it daily and with my students (visually impaired(. #2 use daily. Have modified each with a Shortcut. #6 didn’t know about. Will definitely use it! 😃 #7 and #8 use weekly. 🐬
A lot of people don’t know that they can actually search photos (in the Photos app) based on objects and text on the photo. For example, you can type “car” (object), “New York City” (location), “March 2023” (date), “Mom” (contact/recognized person in photos, it also works with pets), “Favorites” (your favorited photos). And it will search all “favorite” photos taken in March 2023 in NYC with your mom and a car in the photo. Makes it so much easier when you have thousands of photos.
Using your fingers often make the camera move and lose focus while you try to select text so I made an automation in Shortcuts to toggle voice control on/off whenever the camera app is launched/closed. I can then simply say « touch [name of button] » to take a picture or display text. If you don’t know the name of the buttons say « display names » once voice control is on and then « hide names ». I’m French so I don’t know the exact command in English, it might be « show names ».
shortcuts are very very useful. like you are regularly going in settings to a specific place you can create a shortcut bringing you there directly without digging through the settings app. Or you use focus you can create a shortcut at 8:00 starting focus work and turning your screen black/white and removing both at 17:00. The thongs you can do are endless.
I may be a demographic of one, but voiceover is what I use to use my tablet my phone and all my devices. I wished I could comprehend everything. I enjoy your videos and I know it’s natural language to say over here or down there but when you do that, I do not know exactly where you are on the screen, I know that’s an issue that I face on a lot of videos but just remember they are blind folks out here listening to you 12:16
Good video, however its difficult to see whats on the screen. It would be better to zoom in on the screen when you want to show that functionality and zoom in out when you need to show other things in addition to the screen.
Does anyone know if there's a way to quick exist from a deep control center menu say like when you're in the airtag submenu and you want to close everything. Touching outside only goes on at a time and swiping up doesn't work
My main app I use all time is photos, I edit a lot of photos and videos inside the app, but is one feature I would like to have and is split a video and removed something from middle of the video, not only from the end or start. And if is posible would be awesome if I can create a single video from 2 videos, without necessary use a third app, like iMovie or other video editor app, for something so simple.
🐬 I had no idea #1 existed. I'll be using that going forward. #6 is something I use daily. No reason to tap back over and over and over again to get back to settings.
I didn't know the quick timer setup, that's gonna be so useful for my insulin pump (you get best results if you take your insulin roughly 20 minutes before eating)
Why not scan the document directly in Files, and then share to notes? When you scan in Files… You will get a PDF automatically. Then you can open the PDF, and share to notes and then work with it there.
my OCD kicks in: why don't so switch to a profile which hides all Notification indicators? It's so annyoing to see you never respond ( .. should be a funny statement, ok?!)
🐬 x.75 🐬 that means I watched it twice - 2nd time x.75 speed or what I call senior listen speed. I’ve used visual lookup to find the name or location of statues and monuments and types of animals in pictures I’ve taken but had never thought to look up a laundry tag - genius - I have a whole app and picture frame for laundry icons. I plan to try the sticker feature to make app icons or to capture the share icon since they are not in emojis. I just started taking pictures of custom dance garments I own and cut it to notes app and adding the care instructions which was on a package label and not in the garment. I will start using the quick back button ❤. The live listen could work as a senior / nurse aid monitor instead of buying expensive baby/senior monitors - just use an old iPhone for that. I will start using the quick timer option - that tip reminds me to check other app long press menus to see what I can do without launching the app. TFS I learn few new things.
Spotlight will always be my #1

If you hit print then instead of printing, spread two fingers on the thumbnail to zoom, it converts to a PDF to save or send. Much faster.
Which features were you referring to?
@@user9b2 Taking a photo of something, like a document, and converting it to a pdf.
Just tap the share button , then open in the Books app , automatic pdf
I was particularly concerned about you having 139 missed calls
Thank you Fernando! I always learn something new when I watch your videos.
Keep up the good work, these are useful
Honestly the menu tip, will save me so MUCH time omg thank you so! 🐬
mine are definetly focus modes. love them! wish i could tweak them more though..
Thanks, I learned a thing or two ❤
My dude called laundry icons “hieroglyphics” 🤣🤣🤣 Now I know how my mom’s [history] students feel.
Mine is photos or pictures from my screen! Saves a lot of time!
This is a GREAT video! I’ve been using iPhone since iOS ONE and I learned SEVERAL new things today. Thank you!!

Hi you can also convert to pdf any thing
After clicking share choose iBooks and any documents saved in iBooks are pdf
Did not know about the feature 1. Very helpful.
Keep it simple and just
Will you be doing similar vid for iOS 18 ??
Scanning right into the body of an email! That is the best! And of course copying and pasting from device to device which has been around for quite a while. Thank you for your awesome videos

Work vs personal time focus modes. I always have a home screen that helps depending on where I am
Oo I like Wake (no Focus) vs Sleep (Sleep Focus).
Basically my Home Screen icons disappear and Lock Screen wallpaper goes to a sleep-themed one… 😴😴😴😴😴😴
All good features 👍
Awesome tips. I had forgotten some of these. Thanks for highlighting new tips as well as reminding me of others. iPhones are a,among devices. 🐬

Awesome video
I really like the first feature
Live listen, I didn’t know that existed- very handy🐬
Really cool feature to copy text through the camera app and paste elsewhere. Didn’t know about that
Can you send the link of the used wallpaper?
Anything you can print, you can save as a pdf by pressing the share square on print preview and pressing save to files. :)
I love Shortcuts! Is that considered a feature? 🤷🏿♀️
Great video!
Feature #1 is clutch! I use it daily and with my students (visually impaired(.
#2 use daily. Have modified each with a Shortcut.
#6 didn’t know about. Will definitely use it! 😃

Is there a way to remove people or items from the picture itself (not to use as a sticker but to remove things you don’t want in the picture)?

I would like to know how to toggle silent mode with vibrate. Most of the time i like silent mode without vibrate on

I am ready for the iPad Air 12.5 for school
Copying between devices is sooo good

It’s hands down spotlight search.
Won’t the camera bump make the level tool inaccurate?
Good vid. Liked #2. ...
I’d love the sticker feature to work in reverse, ie so that it just removes the person or object from a photo. Maybe in iOS 18??
Good video, however its difficult to see whats on the screen. It would be better to zoom in on the screen when you want to show that functionality and zoom in out when you need to show other things in addition to the screen.
Shortcuts by far is the most powerful thing they have
It’s just a typo. It happens. 🙄

can this work with iphone x?
Where can I get that wall paper?

The background noise feature to listen to dark noise while trying to focus on tasks.
1st one.🤯
🐬
Copy and paste picture edits was a new one for me. Love these type of videos. Keep up the good work.
Anything in iOS that converts a PDF to text ( pref to native apps not 3rd party )
I knew all of them. Does this mean i'm a tech nerd?
4:50 doesn't work on all applications. Maybe just on the iOS Settings itself
Most useful feature is text expander to convert 3 letters into my email address.
Spotlight search
I am not maximizing my phone but I am definitely looksmaxxing.
Clock timer calendar copy paste
What is “Prossively”?
now battery cycles on iphone 15 pro
Bro the last one it’s stalking
I didn't know the quick timer setup, that's gonna be so useful for my insulin pump (you get best results if you take your insulin roughly 20 minutes before eating)
❤
If you copy the image cutout and paste it on whatsapp, you can create a sticker in whatsapp itself

Thanks for successfully wasting my 12 minutes…
Unfortunately I knew all these.
Translate is useless in iOS
Everybody knows this already next please
Thanks for the useful information. My only suggestion is that you get a professional manicure before doing your next video.
