    The Klim Mistral performed very well, except it simply does not fit my 15 Inch laptop. Might fit yours!
    I will say that it is a bit quieter compared to the IETS GT500. I will be doing an in-depth comparison very soon between the two.
    Check it out here: amzn.to/3PO3XIi
    See how it lines up against the IETS GT500: czcams.com/video/JRBVoCbku70/video.html

    Thank you soo much, I was having second thoughts about buying the Mistral during the upcoming regional sale on Amazon in my country but now I'm confident. None of the YTbers did a proper testing of this cooling pad till now.
    This IETS GT500 is stupidly expensive here with customs duty charges and all so it leaves us with only this option.

      In america the Mistral is $20 cheaper as well. I would not say it is better than the GT500, but the Mistral does do a fantastic job. Id say go for it!

    • @sandro7709
      @sandro7709 Před 3 měsíci

      i sometime use a power bank for it although my cooling pad is relatively weaker than this one and needs less power so i dont know abt stronger cooler pads but there are also bigger power banks so yeah u can use a power bank for it its also pretty portable and its nice knowing ur not using even more power from ur laptop to power additional two fans.

    Hey mate do you know there is an additional rubber ring provided so it fits laptop like yours? Have you tried that? Mistral does come with the additional silicone seal for smaller laptops. Also I find this when sealed properly, this can create a proper cooling pad, with temp drops upto 10-12 deg C. I know this because I own one for about 4 months and my i7 13650HX is a beast to cool, and it does cool.

    • @paviliongamer7810

      Bro i also own a dell laptop with rtx4060 and i7 13650hx proccessor. Recently i witnessed a huge drop in my fps when playing valorant. I used get good fps at beginning but after 30 min approx the fps come down to 150 and fluctuates between it and the fluctuation difference is also bigger like some times 200 some times 150 ○_○. After some time it again drops down to 100. My cpu temperatures touches 88°C and gpu to about 64°C. I have bought this laptop just 5 months ago.
      When i purchased this laptop i used to get stable 400fps at max settings. Now what do u say is this because of heating aur something else or do i call customer care for this issue. Please help...

      I haven’t particularly timed it; but I often swap between editing and web browsing whenever I am unplugged. I’d say I average 1-1.5 hours. Maybe I could get 2 hours on battery performance and only web browsing. I haven’t really had an issue with the battery life so far.

      I have the kilm mistral for 1 year now did not regret it, It is delivered with some kind of rigid platform to fix on the back of the cooling pad to create a separation between the back exhaust of the laptop and the intake of the cooling pad. I used it on a rtx 2070 laptop and the decrease of temps has been significant so it is not a problem.

    why do all coolers have to be so loud, especially for the technology we have today, you can 100% come out with one that cools really well and is really quieter, it can cost €150 as far as I'm concerned 😅

      Technology still has not changed. If you want to move alot of air you either need a big fan moving slowly ( not workable in laptop coolers) or smaller fans moving fast which increases the sound. What we haven't seen, or at least I haven't been able to find, is a squirrel cage style can running along the the top and blowing down. Im also wondering if using some foam, like pipe insulation and/or pool noodles, if you could make a seal around a cheaper laptop cooler. Like the ones with 4-6 fans. That would direct the air inward.
