Alice Cooper revealed on a talk show that Johnny suffered from acid reflux. A prescription made it worse, so they called in another medication. Johnny was well enough to carry on the rest of the tour. Plus during the trial, he revealed he had a chip from A.A. He is focusing more on his health now, more than ever.

Johnny just seemed to really push himself after the trial with AH. I think he was worried he had to get back out amongst his fans. He seemed great while with Jeff Beck. Jeff was like an older brother and he and his wife nurtured Johnny through the stresses he'd under went with the trial and then the disgust and loss he must have felt after Disney fired him from his Jack Sparrow role before the trial proved him innocent. The time spent with Jeff seemed to help him flourish in his music. His fans loved it. But, with Jeff's sudden death Johnny had to be the stong one and help Jeff's wife through the process of the funeral and burial. I'm sure they grieved together for the time.
I'm sorry to hear about Johnny having drank too much the one night and the concert had to cancel. I guess Johnny was celebrating too late into the day and didn't realize what he was doing. Stress can take a toll on celebrities just like regular people. I applaud the rest of the band for not letting the fans know the real reason at the time. I hate it even was ever gotten out. I know I still love Johnny and am glad he's doing well now.

It was just bad reflux. A doctor gave him a prescription that made it much worse, so they missed one show. New Ned, he was ready to go the next show. That venue was unfinished and dangerous for concert-goers, so they had to cancel a second show. That’s all there was to it

Got to see Alice Cooper with Ozzy Osbourne in Amarillo Texas in the 70s my big brother took me I said on a guy‘s shoulder they were 7 foot tall. I can see the whole concert that was back in the good old days. I also seen Aerosmith hello Joe crying is my favorite song from Aerosmith Alice and Johnny you guys are the best come to Kansas City we all want to see you. Hope to see you soon. I hope you got a good VIP pass because the one I bought from Dogstar I might as well sit out in the street and not paid the money. The people didn’t pay the money got the best treatment the VIPs got treated like dogs, their followers all they want to do is videotape, they don’t want to dance and sing along to the songs. We were told if we asked for an autograph we would be removed from the venue I was right up front I could not see the opening band of arch which kicked ass couldn’t see them but I could hear them. I don’t go to a concert unless I get VIP people standing out on the street at dog star got autographed, and more time with the band then VIP, we got half of a second with Dogstar and kicked out on the streets to stand in line with the people that paid $35. There’s a lot of pissed off VIP their followers just wanna stand there and record I was told by one of the followers to shut up I was ruining his bit recording, I don’t let anybody dictate what I do and when I do it, I was there to have fun and dances thing with the band and that’s what I’m gonna do with you guys and that’s the way your crowd is a whole different crowd. They actually enjoy having fun and enjoying the music.
