I've made wine listening to various people on YT, but Yours is the easiest, cheapest, & I believe the best way for making wine 🍷.
No boiling, cooking, just juice, sugar, & yeast and HIDE it from myself!
Wow, thank you!
Paw paw i love you reactions and facial expressions everytime you take a sip of your wine
You make my day! I'm so dang tired of politics, so I watch you for a sense of reality!! Brings me back down to Earth!! Luv the channel!!!!
PawPaw you now need to show people how to freeze distillation of a wine. So they can become bootleggers 😜🍷
It worked! I found PawPaw when the fancy instant pot method molded. The next day I followed what PawPaw did, EXCEPT: I used sterilized Mason jars and fermenting lids, plopped those bad boys in my Trump cooler with a towel, heating pad and thermometer. I decided to check today to see if he had opened his. I am so glad i did, cuz I opened mine too. I'll put it this way, I gave a glass to my husband, him not knowing I made it, he didn't skip a beat, only to comment how STRONG the wine was!!!! Thanks PawPaw!!!
Can I ask what brand/style lids you used? I see Brillenti fermenting lids and the water airlock type.
I got an apple wine that I added cinnamon sticks to and it should be done here in about 2 days I can't wait to see how it tastes
How was it?
When I got out of the Army in '79 we had a German schrank cabinet that had 2 doors with windows and to solid doors on the lower side. I install 2 light sockets 1 in the upper and 1 in the lower levels of the schrank. with 60 watt lightbulbs I maintained 88 degrees through out. I could fit 3 - 5 gallon carboys in both levels or 12 - 1 gallon glass jugs. worked great and we could cook 3 - 5 months worth at one time. Those were the days!!! Good video Bob, Thanks...Peace!!!
Bill
Paw Paw, I have a 16 cap. wine rack that has 11 bottles of mulberry wine using your recipe ( I made the juice, followed your recipe, basically ) I have a dandelion "problem" every spring and I think you are the one that could concoct an awesome dandelion wine recipe!
Too much work for me !!!
Homemade wine is just the thing to recover from virtual schooling. Thanks 😊 Pawpaw!
You bet!
White grape peach is my favorite
I tryed ur way with mango passion fruit i got at adilis o my was so good thanks paw paw love your channel neat tips
I am making my first batch of wine in a gallon jug using cranberry-blueberry and cranberry-pomegranate. Another week, and it should be ready.
Great video PawPaw! Love me some Homemade PawPaw Wine! 👍👍😊
Awesome!!! Lol Tutti Frutti Fruit Punch Wine. 😋 You gotta do something about them ducks getting underfoot like that 😂😂 We got the same problem, damn ducks 🦆💨😂
I love merlot wine. Going to try the cranberry/cherry one. I will let you know. Thanks from Kentucky.

.
Hey paw paw: if ya'll haven't heard a lot from me lately it's cause I been to miserable to post or comment because of this darn GOUT mostly I been in bed. And mostly my days of enjoying a tasty glass of homemade wine has been over. Because the say alchohal makes the gout worse. Weeeeelll I find a little work around around that. If you want to share it with the good folks like myself that visit your channel. Juicy Juicy brand cherry wine. Only you don't add the sugar. You use just add the yeast. It takes the sugars from the juice already in it. It is a little dry. But it helps my gout and allows me to have a drink and make my wine. So maybe you can give it a try and share your thoughts and maybe it will help some poor soul who has terrible gout pain. Cherry's are a natural cure for gout. So it works just fine. Or seems to. Ok take care paw paw- Nick
Thanks for the tip ! Get better soon !
Drank some of your recipe last night. WOOOOOOO
Paw Paw you probably need duck crossing signs so you quit stepping on them 🙄
Thanks PawPaw, I was wondering how it would turn out
Wow PawPaw, you’re wine is “ The Bomb “ , you’re Awesome PawPaw. 👍👍👍
Gonna get me a big Christmas/New Years batch going of that cranberry pomegranate using this technique
Paw Paw, I have some workin now I got the heating pad from Amazon and the cooler was from Omaha Steaks gift pack. It fits the 4 bottles and the heating pad perfect. I have the same thermometer probe and with the heating pad on medium it sets on 100 degrees f. I look forward to trying this in about two more weeks. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe!
I'm glad that worked out for you. Looks like a great way to make wine , and ya never have to worry about it getting knocked over . Best stock up on wine. Looks like we're in for some craziness ahead. Just occurred to me that my grandkids might not be able to use the phrase ” good ol days" when they get older.🤔. 🙂
You got that right!
Makes perfect sense to me but we all know some things that make sense don't actually work in practice. Glad to know this method works a treat! Thanks for sharing👍
PawPaw, the first time I made wine was back when you showed us how back about 3 year ago. What I did was, I put it in the water heater closet. Turned out to be the best place at my house until now. Now I have a new problem. Will Momma let me use her heaten pad for 24 days. LOL You have a great day and a better tomorrow 👍
I did it paw paw. Thanks. It was really good
Love your videos, 😂😂Happy Thanksgiving
Same to you!
I just did a pomegranate and cranberry wine. Sipping right now, and I referenced this video on transparency!!!! Thank you
Outstanding video!👍🏾😀❤️🇺🇸

Thanks again Paw-Paw,after27 years in the military, I can drink all I want to,my dogs love it too
Awesome. The dang Ducks follow me around much if the time. I hear them quack behind me and when I turn to see them they have already hidden, but boy they leave a stench.
sounds delicious. That duck was only a 3.5 on my scale. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Paw Paw, I’ve got to make me some of that delicious wine! That combination wine is interesting 😳thanks for your wine videos!🇺🇸
You are so welcome
Great job on the wine
I made some for a few ladies and ummmmm boy we had some fun..Good stuff.
I love the cranberry pomegranate and the apple those turn out great every time the grape doesn't one jug is good and the other isnt lol but great video pawpaw
Thanks for the inspiration PawPaw! I'm currently 1 week in to making some "peach medley" & "cranberry apple". Have a blessed new year sir!
Thanks for this. Our house doesn't really get over 65 here in VA and usually colder that that so I was worried about keeping a warm temp. I'll be doing this set up here in the next few days and will post progress.
Mighty fine mighty fine!!!
Damn ducks!!!
Still learning over here. Thanks
I just made my first batch of about three different juices and left it in my very warm room for 2 days while I was at the beach. I came home and my mom said my dog Kevin wouldn’t stop barking at the corner of my room where the juice was hidden behind a tapestry. When I got home and picked up one of the bottles my dog barked and went nuts trying to grab the bottle and lick the lid. Oh man after 3-4 days the juice is already calm on top with bubbles on the side and smells well of sweet alcohol.
Wait until NO bubbles are visible !
I made that water wine that you mix with kool aid and holy shit it's GOOOOOOOODDD
I started my batch of wine two days after yours. I have it in my closet where my water heater is. Looks like it will be ready in a few days. I'll let you know how it turns out.
😂😆 I can't get past somebody step on a duck? I"ll have to try apple. Haven't yet....
Thank you for this, also welcome home man.🤣
Excellent tips, thank you.
Amazing 👍
Definitely going to try this thanks for the information
Sweet🍷 thank you PawPaw ❤
I told you cranberry Cherry was very good. Mine has been gone a while.
Next time I do it I will have to use two cups sugar instead of 1 1/2.
Cranberry is quite tart and I think cranberry Cherry will be much better with a little extra sweetness
Paw Paw, I started my first batch ever today using the cooler, heating pad method.... Think I put a pinch more yeast than needed. Used a whole pack of yeast for 4 bottles of juice. March 7 2021 will be 30 days giving it an extra week to settle down... Will get back when its time to test results..
Love this song 🩲
Thank you !
Everybody seems to copy your recipe on the internet
Paw Paw,,, aren’t we suppose to lift the small finger, swirl in glass, smell, put in mouth, swish and spit?? LMAO!!! I just cant do it all either.. When its time to drink,, its time to drink!! Hold onto something!! LOL!!! I did try making a batch with all the extra juices left over also.. Wasnt a huge fan of that stuff.. Panty dropper fer sure!!!
Good afternoon Paw Paw Looks good
I forgot all about y’all making thees, and I would say that it has been a successful experiment.
Love the shirt too, where’d y’all get it from?
Me too, the shirt’s cool!
Online, just google it I guess.
I watched you make this and I made some too but my house is warm always at 74 so Im going to check mine and see if its ready yet I haven't even peeked at it . I wanted it for Thanksgiving Dinner so maybe I wont peek just yet cause I just might drink it .lol
Good job buddy! Smart idea. 👍🏻
I can't take credit for the idea I received from another viewer. But I did want to try it !
Awesome !
Looks like a win!
Thanks ! I guess I will have to buy a four post lift since I can't talk you out of yours !!
@@DoingItCheap Sell that tractor you thought was stolen. Then swap it out for a lift.
Moving soon to our 21 acre farm........... gotta have the tractor !!
@@DoingItCheap Yeah you can't get rid of a good tool like that.
Anybody tried this technique with honey, A basic mead? I tried with store yeast but wine yeast or higher grade works better, (stronger alcohol) Paw Paw teaches "do it cheap and simple then try your own ideas" This is proven in my own experience. Thanks, Paw Paw
I live in MN, it's quite cold. I mixed up some Paw Paw wine, then I placed it on the ductwork from the heater in the basement. I saw that after 4 days the welches concord grape stopped fermenting. I thought I'd gently take a sip. It tasted pretty good warm and it was pretty strong using Fleishman yeast. I ended up drinking a glass full and I feel quite sleepy. I tested the apple but it didn't taste too good and I noticed the yeast was slowly still working so I put it back. I think it finishes faster in a constant temperature of approximately 85 degrees. Other juices have different sugars though.
Here is my technique for winter time winemaking. Also watch the videos on my winemaking playlist on my homepage. czcams.com/video/xMOWYGrtY9c/video.html
Hey PawPaw, I’ve been using your recipe for a few years now and was wondering if you’ve ever used pineapple juice. Its apparently got enzymes in it that make it excellent for winemaking and its consistently been my favorite to drink. I’d love to see a new winemaking video!
I am afraid I wouldn't be able to drink it, it would be so strong !! My orange wine ended up as a marinade for chicken. It would knock you down !!!
Love the beer shirt.
It certainly tastes great.. Good job Sir.. Greetings 👋
So nice of you
You welcome Sir
Bravo Paw Paw
Havin' some suds watchin PawPaw sip on some homemade wine. Thanks for the videos years ago, got me start then. Why do you think the Cranberry-Cherry Wine turned out so strong? I know I've made strawberry before and you could ONLY do shots with that stuff it was so strong!
You seem a good man, take care Sir.
No clue why it is stronger...... maybe the juice is sweeter.
Yea Haw, Keep em coming Paw Paw
Working my first batch now with some concord grape from concentrate. I peek on it once a night, cant help myself :).
Mines got about 5 more days to go and its driving me nuts lol.
Grape apple mix oooo yummy

I love that shirt
Hey Paw Paw,
I've only been a subscriber for a few months and I very much enjoy your channel content.
I have completed (2) batches of your wine recipe and have had good success with it.
It is hard (for me) not to peek at the wine and fiddle with it as it is processing but I've concluded that I just have to look and check on my babies as they are bubbling away.
I was wondering if you have ever tried making Blueberry Pomegranate?
And, If not, OMG what are you waiting for!
I think you should do a wine tasting video once a month, so what if you've already done a bunch of wine videos, I really enjoy them and I enjoy watching your reaction once you take a sip.
I'm rambling on here, Thanks for reading my comment and I would be thrilled if you would do a Blueberry Pom wine video and tasting video. You won't be sorry.
Thanks and keep the videos coming!
Oh....And...
Have a wonderful day, and a better tomorrow!
Cheers!
If I find the juice, I might give it a try !
I'm going to try that paw paw
Just seven days to go until my Plastic Ice Chest will be mature and ready to test. Will give results April the eight.

i started wine same day your video played, mine is still fizzing ... its little like sparling wine with a kick
Panty dropper wine mmmmmm best kind
Salud 🥂 señor paw paw
Get tore up PawPaw and send me one drunk,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hey Paw Paw! Big fan here, I've watched all the videos on your winemaking playlist and today I mixed my first batch of your wine recipe. I followed your instructions exactly and when I went to mix everything together, the sugar dissolved into the juice just fine but the yeast didn't, so no matter how long I shook it for there were little yeast grains floating around in it. Right now after a few hours maybe half of the yeast is floating just below the surface and the other half is on the bottom. Any guidance? Thanks much paw paw God bless!
First.......... I have caught many people trying to start out with cold juice. It needs to be at least at room temperature to start. If your mix is cold, then let it warm up. Don't worry about it. Shake it some more, loosen the lid and hide it for a month somewhere warm !
@@DoingItCheap Thanks much Paw Paw!
nice
Paw paw ! I need your help mate first of all your wine recipe is delicious 🤤 I have a few favourite juices here in Australia to use I found through trial and error , I currently have some apple banana and mango brewing coming up on the 30 day mark and starting to go still , it has pulp in it and I’m just wondering what your experience has been with pulp ? Have you used a pulpy juice ? Should I strain it off or should I leave it in ?
First of all, let us understand that wine is made from JUICE not pulp. IF I had made it with juice that had pulp, I would definitely strain it and press the pulp to get every bit of that delicious alcoholic nectar out of it I could !! In the future, I would extract the liquid before I started the process, but that is just my opinion.
