    Question: what head unit do you have? Do you recommend it? What steering wheel do you have? It's really cool!

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před měsícem

      It's a vertical android headunit purchased from Phoenix automotive. They have them available from Aliexpress as well but wanted to purchase in the states for support however I would tell you, support from Phoenix sucks. I do love the headunit but it does come with some headache with the built-in backup camera not functioning properly. I ended up installing an aftermarket rear
      camera for it.

    Where did you learn which wire was which?

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před měsícem

      Honestly, they're trial and error and from watching other videos but not specifically for the same module I have.

  • @hassaanuddin4090
    @hassaanuddin4090 Před 3 lety

    I’ve tried the same but the light become dim, didn’t off completely did I missing something???

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před 3 lety +1

      You have to make sure you have the same type of module (red). There are different kinds and you have to make sure the correct wires are spliced together and not touching other wires. There has to be contact between those wires

    • @hassaanuddin4090
      @hassaanuddin4090 Před 3 lety

      I supplied the wire correctly but the module color is green

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před 3 lety

      Then this instruction would not work for you. You have to search for similar color module instructions

    Does this TPMS bypass work for 2008 Lexus RX 350 as the wire colors are different?

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před 3 lety

      I'm not sure. If colors are different then it probably won't work.

      I didn't make a video of the Tesla style headunit because the ones from Phoenix and the ones I found in CZcams was sufficient. I'll try to find those videos and post here.

    You are driving a Lexus I believe you can effort just change a sensor and not damage the car wiring

    • @iPhonevlog
      @iPhonevlog  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks for your comment. I personally don't like using the built-in sensor as it can be inaccurate sometimes. I prefer checking my tires on a regular basis and mainly trying to avoid seeing the light. Also have plans to switch the wheels and tires soon so this could be a temporary fix.

      Nice fix! As for the snarky comments from nay sayers... just because we drive Lexus products doesn't mean we need to spend big bucks. Some of us will not even go to Starbucks...🤑
