Awesome I need to learn this, I pass up too many wood cleaning jobs 🤦🏾♂️
If I ever have questions on how to do something your Chanel is my go to thank you for doing what you do
💯 percent my favorite video so far
Fellow cleaner looks fanastic ...I appreciate the detail
steps
Great job!
Very good job.
Great video dude. 2020 goals is to buy 1 of those powr-flite machines. I do wood floors also
Awesome 👏
Nice job 👍
Awesome video. When you say damp the microfiber mop and do a final pass do you just use water ? Or do you damp it with squeaky clean? Thank you
I’ve watched a lot of hardwood cleaning videos. I’m going to use this video as my model process. Do you think that an Oreck Orbiter is adequate for the “clean and buff” step?
I ordered my Multiwash today.
Mr Rhino, my bedroom floors just need to be cleaned I will use your way. Thanks.
My living room floor now that was stripped and sealed with oil base polyurethane but way back in 2014.
What is your suggestion to get that old poly up under the couch or should I just leave it alone?
The rest of the floor will need a sanding do you think a screen would work.
Mr Rhino, so you seem to clean the hardwood looks good. Does a shine appear after you spray buff with Squeaky clean product.
The finish you put on in the white plastic bottle what is it made of and is it for hardwood floor?
Thank you.
I have most of the equipment at my home.
After you apply the finish do you high speed buff the floor.
What did you put that refinisher down with?
What other products did you use for the floor just the squeaky?
Which machine would be best for getting paint off vinyl plank flooring? I do post construction cleanup and there is always paint on the floors . Just enough spatters here n there to require me to scrub on my hands n knees . I’m 45 with a bad back and knees . Please help . I’d love to get the paint off without crawling around and hurting myself. Thank you !
Would something similar work on laminate floors also ?
Ty when you used red pad was it only red pad or something under the pad.
Can this be used in unfinished wooden floor and using vinegar and water? Any other solutions for suggestions? Thanks in advance
Does this work for wood laminate also?
From title I I thought you were going do a Screen and coat. How much to clean like that?
Hi Liking your videos...
Could you use Carpet Details on that? Is just tile and carpet?
Good work keep them coming..
No not for hardwood
Please list all tbe products a d machine you use
Could you have put the squeeky clean in the multiwash?
Does this clean out the dirt and grime?
I’m currently learning cleaning wood any beginner recommendations??
where do I get the multiwash machine?
Can we get this stuff at like home depot to rent? Ik the polisher you can but is the multi wash machine like a floor maintainer or what??
what is the best and even price point best crb machine in 2024? You use that thing on all surfaces
Do you show the bottom of the red pad
Rhino man the finish you put on floor how long does it last. And can the customer put more on the floor.
If you were to use an Low PH cleaner. Would the Squeaky be able to neutralize the floor? For example for Salt you would likely use a Low PH product. Squeaky would be applied after right?
I don't think using to acidic product would be good for wood floors if I do use a low ph product it would be the squeaky clean which is neutral . So no need to neutralize.
Are you available to ask a few questions?
What l need is purely polisher for hardwoon flooring, with two (2) brush and how much?
Dont reallly understand your question
Do you have a Basic Coatings test kit? Do you pass on jobs that have acrylic wax buildup and need to be stripped? Thanks.
Yes and yes
@@greenrhinoproject Thank you.
@@greenrhinoproject What do you recommend for the customer to do in that case?
@@zafferhead I do know how to do it but but not much work like that in my area. Just have to identify floor that it’s being removed from. Then decide from there. I do have a hardwood floor cleaning course that covers that. I’m in California so more tile here. If you decide to pass just tell them to call a hardwood floor specialist. If your in a area were lots of hardwood then it’s good to learn very profitable.
Hi Tommy, I’m a housekeeper who is starting my own business. For higher up spots in showers or tubs with tile, how do you scrub higher up? I was thinking about a small ladder to get in those hard to reach spots would be good for shower? I’m not sure about how to get to hard to reach spots if they have a tub? Thanks
A step stool, I’m 6’2 so I can usually reach most
@@greenrhinoproject Thanks for your response. I’m a bit shorter than you, I will have to use the step stool for those higher up spots 🧐
I’ve been using Bona hardwood floor cleaner on my new floors (almost 2 years). They are nail down sand and finished with a matte poly. White oak. There is a horrible cloudiness and I can see every freaking foot print or smudge. I then go over it again with the Bona and it immediately looks great but then a few hours later after living on the floor the smudges come back. Have you see this and what do you recommend?
Does the cleaner have wax in it ? some bona products do you need to use the one that says residue free. Sounds like you have wax build up so needs to be stripped.
is there a specific pad you used on the buffer? im new to hardwood floors
If you buy the oreck floor scrubber, they have a handbook that comes with that teaches you step by step on floor cleaning using their product and with what pads.
Do I need to have a multi wash machine to do hardwood?
No
How much did you charge for that job?
Do you prespray the IFT, or just apply through the Multiwash as you go? Do you put the IFT down heavy? Did you get a lot of gunk up in the IFT step?
Do you use the Doodle Bug with white pad around edges on both steps?
Do you use hot tap water?
Doing my first job for a paying customer tomorrow.
Thanks. :-)
Yes out of multi wash. But you can pre spray just not to ahead of yourself and not to much if you do. Light mist
Warm or cold is fine. Doodle bug as needed. Usually just once. If hardwood is not to dirty skip IFT just squicky
@@greenrhinoproject. Thank you. I’m a little nervous. :-)
@@zafferhead going over it with a cotton bonnet instead of white pad with neutral I think looks better end result
@@greenrhinoproject. 1930s hardwood that has been neglected for decades. I’m going to do my first acrylic test kit just out of curiosity. I’m going to do IFT and Squeaky only. I don’t want to take chances and I want to try to get my system down.
Would an Oreck Orbiter be sufficient in this process along with the Multiwash?
Yes that will work
@@greenrhinoproject Would you buy the side brush attachment for the Multiwash if you had it to do over again?
@@greenrhinoproject Thanks for your previous answer btw. :-)
@@zafferhead yes and be sure to get the transporter
@@greenrhinoproject Will do. Thanks for the advice. :-)
Great job ! How much you guys charge per Sf ?
$.50 for cleaning
How much for apply refinishing?
@@greenrhinoproject Does 50 cents include refinishing?
?
Not sure why you mixed neutralizing with buffing. Squeeky isn't a spray buff. "Buffing" with a 175 as a prep for finish is a new one on me. Your results look good, but that step is a head scratcher.
Squeaky is a neutral cleaner . I use it to nutralize the high ph of intensive floor treatment. So not really a spray n buff more like a quick way of neutralizing before refinish in applied. But if im doing something wrong im a great student as well a teacher.
I do know how I my have confused you . I wasnt using spray buff product to neutralize. I was using a cleaner called squeaky clean by custom coating. it is accually a cleaner with no acrylic . I was just doing the process of spray n buff to apply. If I was doing a spray n buff on a floor I was not appling finish to such as a floor that had an acrylic finish already I would use a product called Unitex Rebound Spray Buff. Sorry for the confusion it was my fault I will remember in next videos.
What is that machine called?
175 buffer
how much psf you charge bro?
$.50 but actually thinking on lowering a little to get more these jobs because its so easy
Another carpet cleaner posing as a hardwood flooring contractor. So what do you do when a floor is heavily worn and beyond just cleaning and needs to be sanded or a client wants to sand and stain their floors a different color ? The answer is, you refer them to a qualified wood flooring contractor like me.
What do you do when it's only cleaning? You call us the cleaners
No one wants an a hole like you around
@@visionaryhomeremodeling599 Actually I routinely re-coat wood floors and since there's so many over the counter acrylic based polishes and waxes I have to deep clean each floor before re-coating it. I could get into a lengthy explanation as to which cleaners can be used on oil based finish, water based finish, hard wax or aluminum-oxide finish but I'm sure it would all go way over your head.
O for sure... You are smarting than everyone....@@RNicolasRuvalcaba
@@mikefix1584 Well, I'm definitely "smarting" than you 🥴
