HAND PROJECTION & FEET SET | How To Hockey Goalie Tips and Drills

These are clips from a Private Lesson with AAA goaltender John. Our focus this lesson was quick, controlled movements across the paint and getting set before the shot. In the past John has struggle to pick the pick up on low glove/blocker shots, so this lesson we drove home the idea of leaning into the shot and getting a full rotation of his body toward the puck. John does a great job keeping his movements controlled, strong, and with a purpose.
