I love Patrick. But I think his only teammate should be Max, because Max&Patrick are phenomenal together on this show xD They play off eachother so well.

Not all at once probably- they don't normally have that many guest stars, and more importantly, how would they divide them up since there's three of them? And who would be the fourth? (It'd probably have to be their dad to complete the whole McElroy collection honestly)

According to an official press release from the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council a hot dog is indeed a sandwich

people get mad at the South for calling everything a coke, so why wouldnt you get mad at a moron for saying everything is a sandwich!?
Two hamburger buns are just buns. It's only a hamburger if there is meat added. You can make and cut bread into whatever shape you want, but unless it has meat added, it can't be a sandwich, burger, or a hot dog. And whoever says that two slices of bread together by themselves is a sandwich needs to take a walk of shame.
Didn't mean it the way you took it, but i understand where you were coming from. My intention was to say that it is the way the bread is presented in relation to itself and whatever is in it that dictates what it is and that sandwiches are there own type of food, not an all encompassing term.
My German Teacher, in high school, once told us that a "German Sandwich" is:
A Single slice of bread with the meat and cheese on top
Under that definition yes, a hotdog could be a sandwich, but then pbj is not, blt is not, etc. and even then the german definition is specific not all encompasing
technically a sandwich is pretty broad; even a pizza is considered a sandwich by open face standards. Something I learned in culinary school.
