Undergone surgery about 1 and half months back (in a renowned hospital in Chennai,it's not fair to mention name of the hospital). Track was not completely removed as its long and joins in sphincter. Seton was placed and in another 1 and half months time need to go for second stage surgery. I have never experienced constipation for sure, 1)how I got fistula and this long? 2) will I be fully recovered and back to routine 3) what's the best way to avoid fistula in my case. Fistula is result of an infection, it can develop on anyone, you cant give one reason on why fistula developed. You should recover well. Maintain good hygiene, avoid constipation

In both the time I was placed Seton string ( it's surgeon's decision based on patient's condition) I am supposed to undergo minimum one more sugery ( because of corona lockdown I could not get surgery done) Still i am getting discharge through about 4 years. I was operated at Apollo. Meanwhile Annai Arul hospital, Mudichur, Tambaram also equally good. The doctor who spoke in this video seems genuine for treatment. For most patients recovery is good. Recurrence possibility is more. But keeping hygiene, consuming fibrous food, taking sufficient water, passin stool at right time habit- we can avoid or minimise the recurrence possibility of fistula.
