Great video. I’d love to pick your brain on an issue I have with Ecamm using the RCPII. Ecsmm support didn’t really have an answer. I can’t use the smart pad (sound effect) in Ecamm because Ecamm cancels it out in echo cancellation. Even when I set Ecamm preferences to RCP chat and the Mac system output to RCP chat it still cancels the sound pad effects. I can use effects in Ecsmm but not through the RCP. It also impacts other things but that’s effectively making the RCPII irrelevant.

I wish the duo had dual TRS line inputs in place of the 2 mic pre-amps you lose compared to the Pro. Many of my peers require using an HDMI audio extractor to pipe video game console audio into their mixer. Some of which don't support USB audio (like the analogue pocket).
You could technically use one of Rode's wireless systems for your mic, so that you could use the two analog combo jacks for stereo analog inputs. Alas, the duo feels much less flexible without a dedicated stereo analog input.
Rode hinted at using the ethernet port for something more than internet connectivity. So, that's a potential avenue of fixing this problem. For example, if they implemented the Dante audio network protocol you could use one of their Dante AVIO adapters to get an extra stereo input. But at that point the price difference is basically a wash and you probably just want to get the Pro.
