This is one of my favorite pieces that you've sculpted, simple, haunting, but the way that the character interacts with the base, the story the character implies, and the experimentation with the salty spray was all really neat. Keep up the good work!

Wow. The way you made the bony fingies is amazing. I'm always impressed by your craftwork, but this is beyond what I thought could be achieved with clay. You are truly a master craftsman when it comes to clay.
I absolutely love this one! The base is such a cool idea with his robe causing the water to freeze where it touches. Very neat!
Only thing that would make it cooler is an LED in his chest giving him a spooky, ethereal glow

I had a lot of respect for Adam, then in my art class we used clay. Now I 100x as much respect for him than I had before, because that shit was impossible. Mad respect adam.

As someone who draws a lot of bones, I'm really happy you redid the hands like you did, and always that you make sure to try and be accurate with your bones, instead of just doing the Bad Halloween Decorations approach, even when it means more mork for you,
Bc honestly, if a skeleton came at me and I realised the bones were very obviously wrong, I.... Just wouldn't be as scared, honestly?
And the ice on the water was such a cool idea, I don't think I've ever seen that before, especially not with more than one type of ground being affected! It also distracts you from the thought of "where are the wires" bc the robes touching the ground now look intentional to show the freezing effect instead of a support structure
Honestly the final look for the blade looks like very convincing rust. That saline solution might work for really rusty things like abandoned scrap metal or old cars
I love this design. It's simple and in line with the typical representation of the grim reaper, but the flowy, deformed mass of fabric that cover its body (or possibly absence of body) makes it appear more ethereal and sinister. The rusty scythe and the base are neat touches too.

I love this one. It is such a nice decision not to make a grim reaper who rots everything around him, but to freeze his surroundings.
Since you mentioned living in Scotland in one of your videos, I wanted to ask if you have ever thought about sculpting some of the creatures of Scottish folklore?
I would say he’s probably too scared of them coming after him, but I’m also pretty sure that he’s God at this point
This might be my favorite. The whole idea of stuff freezing upon contact is awesome and well executed. The overall model is cohesive and beautiful, in its own way
I love how instead of baking it in a normal oven which is perfectly fine to do with any type of clay, he makes a whole new reaper

I’m surprised adam hasn’t made Toothless from HTTYD, or Appa from ATLA or any of the creatures from ATLA, or one of the aliens from the Ben 10 universe. I feel like creating any creature from any of those shows would be an amazing video to watch, especially if he made it “realistic” or a zombie form of one of them. I feel like I would be worried the salt wouldn't be good for my airbrush, but I guess if it worked for you it should be fine!
I imagine it should be fine, it would slowly dissolve anyway so less clogs
I'd worry that the once the salt is on the sculpture it may hygroscopically dissolve over time unless it can be sealed somehow
Now wants to see the amagalam of too big pieces to a Frankenstein monster that Adam makes... a collection of all the too big pieces over the years.

Edit: hel/hela is the goddess of death, she resides in her relm helheim, she is the daughter of loki and Angrboða, and is described as having half of her face dead(rotting and decaying) or sometimes just the color of dead flesh ,and her other half is living(pink flesh and such), I couldn't find anything on her hair color but I would go with blonde or black if you decide to make her

When you do these large sculpts, like the Space Marine, and this one. They remind me of an old GW gamesday, where I went and saw the model designers table, and they had the large scale sculpts of the miniatures on display

Death is a actually really good guy when you get to know him
new on your channel, I appreciate very much the « things » you do and the way you do it, I gradually watch all the videos and I learn a lot about the differents techniques, although there’re some who still a mystery (like how to bake clay in an oven with electric cables for the lamps without those melting, but anyway and sorry for my FrenchEnglish writing). When I was young (above a century) I loved watching Captain Caveman, maybe one day this "hairy character" will inspire you with lots of little nerdy things and teeny tiny teeth. Thanks for your videos an your humor :)

The sculpt is absolutely beautiful, although I think the blue painted sections reach too high.

This sculpt is absolutely fantastic, and I personally do like the salt on the sythe, as it gives it a more old and decayed appearance.
I was looking away and distracted when he said, "This time I prebaked my fingers in the oven," and THAT got my attention. I was like, "You WHAT?" before realizing he meant the fingers of the skeleton. The dangers of hearing something said out of context. 😂😂
