A very tasty cherry cake. No flour! The cake is so tender, it melts in your mouth. Cheesecake with cherries and crunchy almonds. It is the best cheesecake recipe with cherries. Anyone can bake this delicious quark cake! And your guests will love it, so tender and fluffy! A fantastic recipe for cake with cherries. Cake in 15 minutes. Very tasty, a cake that you can bake every day and that melts in your mouth!
Ingredients / Recipe: (1 cup = 250 ml)
250 g cherries (sour cherries) (about 1 1/2 cups)
Drain well.
3 eggs
170 g sugar (4/5 cup)
A pinch of salt
85 g semolina (wheat semolina) (2/5 cup)
Melt 100 g butter (2/5 cup)
Grate some of the peel of a lemon.
The lemon should be organic and washed.
500 g quark (or cottage cheese / cream cheese) 2 cups
250 g sour cream (sour cream) 1 cup
150 g crème fraîche (about 34% fat) 3/5 cup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
180 ml milk (3/4 cup)
40 g corn starch (1/3 cup)
Baking pan: 28 cm (11 inches)
1 tablespoon corn starch
120 g sliced almonds (1 cup)
60 ml cream (1/5 cup)
2 packets of vanilla sugar (8 g each, 3 teaspoons)
1 teaspoon corn starch
Bake the cheesecake at 170 °C (338 °F) for about 55 minutes.
After baking: Let the cake rest in the open oven for 15 minutes.
