I've had Highlander, Mercedes, Nissan and Renault in my history of 20 year driving, but I've never been so happy and satisfied as I'm with my 2022 Eclipse Cross SE. It's very comfortable, stylish, sporty, stable and acceleration is very very powerful. Congratulations to Mitsubishi for this perfect design and quality. Price is just unbelievable. Warranty is another big plus for this vehicle, 10 years/100,000 miles powertrain and 5 years/60,000 miles bumper to bumper. I also enjoy the i-connect and SOS systems, am able to check and control my vehicle with the app on my cell phone. All that features for the price offered, are really exceptional.

I don't care how rich I am, my kid is going to have to earn their car.
And its not going to be no 30K car as their first car.
People coddle their kids when they're raising them. Then due to them never having independence they end up incompetent growing up, then the parents are forced to finance them and help them as adults because they end up as incompetent adults because they never learned to do things without their parents.
Its a cycle, people wonder why this generation is 'useless'. Its the parents.
Teach someone and they can CHOOSE to replicate, that's wealth and knowledge, generational advantages, but do for them, they never have to learn.
Its why wealth is eroding generationally and it never stays in families more than a few generations.
People talk about 'safety' in newer cars but fail to realize that you can buy a car that is cheaper + safe. Plus they fail to put their money where it should be.
Drivers school so your kid learns to drive properly? Nah.
Track days so your kid learns how to control a vehicle at a high rate of speed when its losing control? Nah.
Cheap tires on my 30K SUV to save money so he'll probably spin out and total that 30K SUV? Yup.
Then when they get into an accident; "OMG, ITS SAVED HIM, MONEY WELL SPENT".

first I would like to thank you as always . I enjoy watching your review. but I have been around these days looking to buy AWD car OR SUV OR CUV don't matter . what matter most for me . is Reliability. so far I do like that Mitsubishi . and I do embrace the simplicity in any car in general. as long don't look goofy in design. the only drawback from this vehicle is the CVT . as soon i learn about any vehicle that equipped with CVT transmission. it's just a turn off. for me unfortunately.

Been driving one for a week. Good looking vehicle, inside and out. Hate the CVT transmission and motor feels gutless. Been driving in city, but more hwy, and I’m only getting 9.2 L / 100 Kms. Getting same fuel usage as my old 2016 Toyota V6 AWD Venza LTD. My wife’s old Mazda CX5 was a much better drive and better on gas.

I have 2016 mazda CX-5, and I'm a Mazda fan, my brother trade his 2016 CX-5 for 2020 eclipse, I was surprised how good the car drive and feels, great work Mitsubishi, might trade my cx5 for one as well.

The instrument cluster was lifted from my 2010 Lancer. I mean its exactly the same over ten years later. Yeah, old school. Gets the job done fine though. My Mitsubishi has been completely reliable - not a single trip to the dealership in all those years. I'm going to be getting a new car soon, but I wouldn't consider another Mitsubishi for one reason - the spotty dealer network. There is one almost an hour drive from my home and its literally the only one from the San Francisco Bay Area to Portland Oregon. That's ridiculous.

Mitsubishi is the best..I own a pearly white 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited I am the original owner and it has 140,000.00 miles, it has only needed maintenance it has never given me any problems. It has sentimental value i would never sell, but i would love this NEW SUV IT LOOKS AWESOME!! I wish they would bring the montero back.
