Dante beats Vergil a whole total of 5 times:
DMC 1 - once, DMC 3 - twice (yes the 2nd fight counts because Vergil is clearly winded and Dante isn't by the time others show up), DMC 5 - twice (perfect Urizen and Vergil)
It's not up to debate, canonically Dante is stronger. In gameplay though......

That's it. Dante has to do *one* thing and Vergil is suddenly helpless - no Sin Stinger, no Sin Inferno, no Judgement Cut End can beat *Royalguard*
1. Dante WAS winded after their second fight in 3. I don't know how you can claim otherwise when he, just like Vergil, got manhandled by Arkham immediately following their bout.
2. I'm not sure which fight with Vergil you're referring to in 5, but if it's Mission 19, you're just straight up wrong. That fight ended in a draw, and had Nero not intervened, Dante likely would have lost since he seemed to be the one on the backfoot. If you're referring to their fight in the demon world during the post-credits (which Dante ACTUALLY won), then you just aren't helping support your argument, as that scene wasn't demonstrating that Dante is stronger, but that the two are so dead even that even they feel like they can never definitively beat one another, and the thought of fighting forever excites them since they're finally making up for lost time.
Tldr: Dante is not stronger than Vergil. Canonically, they are equals in pretty much every sense of the word. I thought DMC5 made that pretty clear, but it is what it is, I guess.
@@haydenblazier6751 it's been canonically confirmed that the power of a person (mostly demon/hybrid persons) in that universe is connected to emotion. Specifically the capability to empathize and love. Much as Vergil changed in 5, Dante has him beat in that regard
@@jpjfrey5673 I think you're underestimating the amount of development Vergil went through during DMC5. He essentially had the same arc Dante had in 3, but flipped, where he accepted his humanity as a part of himself and becomes stronger for it. He's realized the error of his ways and has started to make honest attempts at connecting to those around him, as evidenced by the fact that he was willing to listen to Nero at all and how he's chatting it up with Dante in the demon world. Now that he's accepted himself fully, as well the people close to him he's stronger than he's ever been. By your argument, Dante should have been able to beat Vergil during their mission 19 fight, but he didn't, and with how it's framed there is a lot of evidence that he likely would have lost that fight had Nero not stepped in. It makes far more sense for the two to be equals, since both of them have essentially finished their personal journies of self discovery and are pretty much just vibing with one another until something new gets their attention, fighting each other as a way to kill time in battles that are always 50/50. I feel as though even the game itself goes to great lengths to show that neither of the two has a concrete edge over the other in terms of overall power.
Edit: Goddamn, can I ever yap. Sorry to anyone who reads this, I genuinely have no clue as to how I can shorten this without gutting my argument.
Dante never beat Nelo Angelo in their first 2 meetings he left and barely fought in the first meeting and 2nd was testing reflexes

Yeah this is one hard fighting game that takes many hours to get to even an ok level. And Vergil is indeed that broken. But does have some hell of some crazy moments especially when the skill level is high but not 'every touch of death I do ends in success'.
Btw I have Badger’s metal pipe for Opera GX and it is VERY LOUD. I had to turn it down to like 20 so it wouldn’t burst my eardrums.
Where's MAHVEL 3? Most platforms... if you call Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and especially PC as "most platforms".

The Russian Badger! One of the funniest guys on CZcams and a man I would want to be friends with just because I want to say some unhinged bs while playing a game. Also Sonic Fox is one of the best competitive fighting game players in the world with them being so good that many people will just instantly give up and leave upon seeing their name next to their's on the bracket.
Tekken is a good beginer fighting game at least for me it was one of the only fighting games l could play as a kid because l could play the game without doing any motion inputs or links l started with tekken 5 too now l can play any fighting game its my favorite genre
