    Ackee and Saltfish/Codfish Rangoons Recipe
    Serving size 4
    Preparation time: 20 mins
    Cooking time: 15mins
    Ingredients:
    1/2 pound boneless salted codfish
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 sprig fresh thyme
    1/4 cups onions, sliced
    4 stalks scallions, small dice
    1/4 cup red bell peppers, sliced
    1/4 cup green bell peppers, sliced
    1/4 cup yellow or orange bell peppers, sliced
    1/4 scotch bonnet pepper, sliced
    1 (20-ounce) can ackee, drained
    1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
    1/2 tsp all purpose seasoning
    1 pack wonton wrapper (use as needed)
    1 tbsp cup olive oil
    1 gallon vegetable oil
    8 cups water

    Please remember we are Jamaicans and coconut oil or Jamaican vegetable oil is to go not olive oil. As Italian say l am Italian l use olive oil. Coconut oil provide jobs back home

      Yeah you’re right .. copy that but it’s all a matter of preference! They are good oil most definitely but olive oil or grapeseed oil goes well with the variety of dishes I make!
