Football (or soccer, depends, where you live :D) fans may know what the today's song will be about just by its title.
In 1994, in finale of FIFA World Cup, Brazil and Italy teams met. There were no goals through 120 minutes of the match, despite efforts of both. So it was down to penalties to decide who will be the world champion...
This was true "football war", but, fortunately, only figuratively...

Nevertheless, Italians from Nanowar of Steel decided to invite Joakim Broden, vocalist of Sabaton, to join them on this song. So this is not a coincidence that the lyrics are written and sung as if describing a true battle! It is also not a coincidence that the song sounds a bit similar to "the Last Stand" by Sabaton :)
