Do watch out for copyright claims though. The main ones that you should be concerned about are the Starset ones (concept trailers), the DJ Okawari ones, and for whatever reason, the first half of the Obscure Wanderer trailer (I think even the visuals are an issue, which is weird). There are a few more here and there which might be iffy, but generally speaking the trailers (apart from the one I mentioned) and most, if not all, of the 6* character themes should be ok, as well as the CC themes. If there's anything I missed, someone please add on. Also idk if it alr exists, but someone should really create an easily accessible resource which can be posted to every new content creator so we prevent copyright strikes and stuff
the collab videos too, like the one to save the animals (dont remember anything about it so cant tell) or the nine colored deer too have copyright I think
Most character names arent thier real names they are code names. Also the fact you nailed ptilopsis name, good job lol. Most people who cant pronounce Exusiai's name call her Exu. For a general basis on what classes are 'usually', Defenders are high defense high block, Guards are high damage ground units, Vanguards are the first to deploy and cant do as much dmg as guards or tank as much as defenders but they give points more so you can deploy the other ones, Snipers high damage from ranged tiles, Supporters....Support they can buff, debuff and slow, Specialists can do a wide variety of things, medics heal. Each class has sub branches but Kukkikazes arkpedia series is a great beginners guide imo. Game is tower defense with a very unique take and it never gets stale cause there is always new mechanics with each event and a game to really think about strategy and very free to play friendly. Welcome to Arknights haha. Sorry for the rant.

My favorite class is Sniper and favorite character is Rosmontis (you'll see her soon). World building and lore is definitely one of the biggest drives of Arknights, so I think you'd definitely enjoy that. Also story. Lots of depressing stories. Gameplay is actually pretty fun and challenging for tower defense, cos it's not just simply killing enemies, but there's a lot of strategy involved, so if you like more of tactical games, you might enjoy it as well. Every event etc. trailer has corresponding short animation PV, so the best way to watch trailers is alongside with their respective animations, as they're released at the same time and are meant to be seen together. So for example trailer for Necessary Solutions has also short animated PV of the same name, that would give you more idea of what the specific story is about (also hype you even more). They're really short, usually 15-30 seconds long, so watching them doesn't take too much time. Currently there are 10 main episodes (11 if you count content from CN server) and they only started doing trailers for them from episode 5. They're not really marked, so it's easy to miss, but at the end when you see episode's title there's small EP05, EP06 etc; so you already watched 2 of those. Necessary Solutions and Partial Necrosis. The best way to quickly explain the world is that Originium is like coal. It's their main source of power and all technology etc. is based on using it. But while processed Originium is safe and makes life easier, unprocessed one, the one you're mining, is very dangerous and can infect you with incurable disease called Oripathy. Originium starts growing in your body, leading to all sorts of health issues and pain. It's not contagious and in theory you can live with it, especially if you get proper medication (which is expensive and most companies try to exploit your dependence on them). The issue is, once you die, the Originium in your body will start growing uncontrollably until it'll explode spreading Originium dust all around, which if inhaled, is guarantee to infect you. So because of that, vast majority of society and almost all countries discriminate against Infected and either quarantine them or just straight reject/kill them. So most of the stories as well as the main story of the game, deal with that conflict. Don't pay too much attentions to races. Outside of few specific ones, they're more like skin colors. Majority of them just tells you which animal traits given person have. So for example Lupos have traits of wolves, while Felines have traits of cats. Liberi have traits of birds, so you totally are correct about feathery, flowy feeling you got from Silence and Ptilopsis. From cooler ones you have for example Lungs, that have traits of Eastern dragons, Sankta, which are basically angels and Sarkaz that are pretty much AK's devils/demons. Usually the name of race and country that race mainly comes from (but different races can live/be from any country) are different, but Ursus is a bit of exception, cos it can mean both race (traits of bears) as well as someone coming from Ursus Empire. Lungmen is a bit similar, as Lung part of it is in reference to Lung race iirc. EDIT/ Ups, mixed up Pramanix with Ptilopsis

@@adgmanD Don't worry. Take your time. The doctors' community will help you. There are 10 (11 in CN) chapters in the main story. Others are side stories though some do have connection with the other but do not affect the main story too much (not the same timeline). So you don't have to try too hard to catch up with everythings. Races and factions do play some role in the lore, story. However, the main trouble is the rock cancer. (You can see many Operators in trailers have some black crystals on their body) That's basic knowledge you need for the lore. Others will be found in the game. :))))

Rhodes Island- A Pharmaceutical Company whose priority is the help the Infected citizens in curing thier Oripathy disease. They hold a not so large armed forces in thier defense in order of the safety of the patients inside. L.G.D- Stands for Lungmen Guard Department. A military police department from city of Lungmen who acts as its defense force as well as its law enforces. Currently in partnership with Rhodes Island in handling the Infected. Karlan Trade Industry- A wealthy trading company from the snowy country Kjerag. Owned by the Silverash Family specifically Enciodes Silverash. Like L.G.D in partnership with Rhodes Island as well.

I was actually pretty intimidated when I saw the trailers back then. I'm glad to see you enjoy watching them. A friend of mine just forced me to play it for atleast a week, and I'm actually glad he did. 🤣😂
The game's world feels quite alive and breathing with how much there is to everything in it, and outside it as well. 'Side Story's are events, they're not part of the 'Main Story' but everything in the game happens with the characters of the world, some have minor or major relations to the Main Story because of this and can even abstractly be given a timeframe of when things happen. 'Skins' have purpose to them, actual brands in-game 'design' them and are things those characters would wear for the most part. The stories are told in a very Visual Novelette format. Unfortunately they don't have voice acting to them, probably due to the sheer amount of writing in the game. Each character has their own Profile that unlocks the more trust you gain with them. "Elite 2" units (4, 5 & 6 star rarity) also come with additional splash art for those characters, minus Amiya who has one for both "Elite 1" & "Elite 2". The game's a strategy based tower defense and they've done really well with keeping good balance of the character roster to where practically every one is useful. Higher rarity tend to be better more out of higher stat ceilings with much more investment & more niche skill sets, where lower rarity tend to take much less investment to more quickly reach their full potential. However, if the game doesn't suit your tastes for whatever reason, there's plenty to join outside of it, be it the trailers or music the company behind the game puts out or the anime they're now producing to allow a different way to experience the game's story. A large number of characters have their own theme tracks ranging from heavy metal, to hard rock or techno, jazz or melodic, to straight up disney-esque songs. There's now an annual musical concert thing as well; Ambience Synesthesia. Welcome to Arknights, hope you find something you enjoy on this ride!

Nah mate screw the trailers, you legit gotta check out the banger of a music they had for all the CC lobby themes and the character themes, also some of the latest boss theme too, recommend checking out the Il Siracusano boss theme! the music quality is qenuinely wild compared to the simplistic visuals of the game

tbh I'm kind of confused about how you got that. Arknights is a tower defense, which depends on timing and strategy more than anything, something a turn-based cannot do.
