Alessa and Brett, You know I love castles🤩. The stonework and what remains is amazing. The roof timbers in the large halls would have me staring for hours. This place reminded me so much of Winterfell from Game of Thrones, it is such a wonderful place! I always though that medieval houses are a little short, dark and not too comfortable but this looked like something I would gladly accept as home! What a great location!

I enjoyed the garden Walkthrough and learning the little details symbolizing social status. The cloth painting is pretty neat. Beautiful stonework, definitely fitting during those times. It's fascinating how these structures are laid out, from floor plans to heating systems. I love the circular tower too. Nicely done. Take care!

Wow we are so sorry that we have only just got around to watching your channel. Tretower Court is actually on our list to visit as we are CADW members and its just up the road from where will live in Pontypool. You covered both of these stunning properties superbly with such detail. I often think we should be doing more narration. What a great place for a wedding this would be and the castle looks like it has so many nooks and crannies for the kids too explore. It is interesting that it was owned by the Berkleys and we have never heard of somebody being Knighted on their battlefield deathbed - how sad. Oh wow! Love these!! I love that you get older history and how things changed, therefore needs changed in what kind of dwelling you had. I love timber work and tapestries and painted cloths...we do tend to forget how much colour there would have been in these things. So much history and you can feel it! That upper hall...WOW. Wales do seem to have some specular castles, this being a prime example of one of them. Really good inside as well as outside, it would have been brilliant if the murals were still on the walls today but the stonework was still very impressive, as was the drone work, which really showed it off, cheers Alan.
