For such a reference overdosed game, I'm surprised SpongeBob didn't have anything to say towards his fellow Nicktoons Unite alumni, Jimmy and Danny.

They're not allowed to have characters say the names of others outside their verse, the only exception was Shredder and Danny or Clockwork saying SpongeBob. But it's the fact it was only 2 that says a lot about it being... "Expensive"
@edwardramos4591 My guess is that it's a restriction Nick placed on the devs to not narratively reference any past Nick Crossover Games OR Ludosity & Fair Play Labs just wanted the NASB2's plot to stand out on it's own merits and didn't want to directly connect it to the Nicktoons Unite Series, Freeze Frame Frenzy, MLB, etc...
Either way, it is admittingly disappointing not seeing ANY past Nick game continuity get referenced. BUT, it's also not something I'll lose sleep over. I'm MORE than happy with the story we got!

Crazy how Clockwork actually said Spongebob's name. A character from one show saying the name of another character from a different show doesn't seem to happen anywhere else in the game. Gotta wonder how much that one line of dialogue costed.
Maybe he is the true protagonist of this storyline. But I really think Danny (and to some extent, Ember), fits that storyline better. What's with SpongeBob being considered the protagonist of Nicktoon crossovers?

@@missplayer30 I wouldn't wisely call SpongeBob the Storyline's One TRUE Canon Protagonist! BUT, he IS admittedly the closest, since (whether or not you save Patrick or defeat King Jellyfish & meet Vlad) Clockwork DOES recruit him first! However, with how the campaign's story is designed & structured, ANY of the playable characters can basically be consider the Protagonist! Especially AFTER SpongeBob's initial meet up with Clockwork on the Timeless Stardial...

Not to mention a recent discovery with Raphael saying Vlad’s name. (Edit 4/5/24: It’s also confirmed that April also said Vlad’s name, albeit his last name.)

@ThatOneGem Yeah, that bit did catch me off guard when I first saw it. I mean it's funny that even SpongeBob can admit his best friend ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but yeah... It does feel out of character. Luckily, a moment like that is the exception, not the rule!

I'm surprised that Clockwork says "You've had a taste of that. So you know how wonderful that feeling is!" at 30:30. I know this is part of the standard dialogue he gives for everyone, but you'd think that the one character that was never influenced by the mind control would be an exception...?
I think he meant by fighting everyone during the whole game in this case, even if Spongebob wasn't influenced. But hey, I might be wrong.
Man, I know a lot of people have said this already (me being among them), but with this Game, The Cosmic Shake & from just seeing a few Clips from Recent Episodes, Tom Kenny's Age really IS catching up to him when it comes to voicing the little yellow guy. Like, He can still DO SpongeBob's Voice, but he's clearly slowly losing the ability! I wonder how long he'll be able to keep this going, given that SpongeBob as a franchise definitely isn't going away anytime soon...
It's beginning to be like marge's case. The bass in all of the voices in this game definitely doesn't help

Too bad they didn’t add any unique dialogue for fighting Vlad, considering the one Nicktoons crossover games had him be a boss. It would’ve been fun to see our sponge boy talk about those old days

Actually, I'm still willing to do it (unless someone beats me to it) but I was saying that was Plankton's original dialogue plan that got scrapped in the game.
Mr. Krabs is mainly next since he'll be out soon.
You forgot to include his interaction with Mr. Krabs
As I said.... I'm going to do that one separately rather than just with unused audio, plus it gives me a chance to try out Mr. Krabs in Campaign cuz I plan to unlock him with SpongeBob for obvious reasons, somewhat killing two birds with one stone
