The voice actor for Pyra confirmed they had no context for the voice acting. Basically monolith soft just did some awful directing on their end.
You mean Nintendo of Europe. Monolith Soft played no role in localization.

mechashadow Basically, when you get a Blade Combo Finisher, the enemy gets an element orb of the element you didnthe Stage 3 special for. So if you finish a Blade Combo with a Fire special (Like Fire-Fire-Fire), you will get a fire orb on the enemy.
If an enemy has an element orb, they’ll take less damage from Blade Specials of that element.
When you use a chain attack, you try to break the element orbs. Using the opposite element breaks the orb 2 stages out of 3 (Fire and Water, Electric And Earth, Ice and Wind, Light and Darkness).
When an orb is broken, you get an extra round of attacks in the Chain Attack, and all specials during the Chain Attack after the Orb is broken will be stronger.
If you break enough orbs in one chain attack, you initiate Full Burst, where everyone uses all their arts and their Level 4 Specials.
The voice acting isn't actually that bad rex just can't do anything that involves excitement, and how else would we get top waifu Zeke.
You ignore the last 3 chapters. Rex had some great yells, and one in particular during the final boss was nothing short of fantastic.
Yeah, Rex’s yells got way better near the end.
But honestly, his quieter talking was pretty great throughout. He definitely hit some emotional cords with me.

One of the voice actors said that the unnatural pauses during lines was because they attempted to match the lip sync which kinda fragmented their performance

@@aprinnyonbreak1290 Good thing they fixed it in Xenoblade 3. They modified the lip movements of the characters so it matches the English VA. Monolith Soft and the team handling the localization really took the criticisms they got from Xenoblade 2 to heart.
I actually really like that "Aiyaaaah!" line, I think it's amazing voice acting, because it sounds exactly like what it is. Some kid that doesn't know shit yelling at the top of his lungs as he swings a huge ass sword around. It makes Rex sound like an idiot who doesn't know WTF he's doing but that's what he is. That idea is further cemented by Pyra taking the leading role in combat 30 seconds later, using her sword herself instead of letting Rex do it.

I can’t tell you how much I love this video. XC2 is a wonderful game and I feel like too many videos focus on the things that would turn people off from it, but you put them in a very humorous light while also explaining and praising what makes the game enjoyable. And as a fan of the series, there is definitely a LOT of stuff to poke fun at.
So yeah, thanks a lot for making such a humorous but fair video and I really hope you make a part 2!

The future sight move is actually a passiv ability for Mythra which will make you doge ranged attaks easier
It also improves accuracy.
Its no monado visions though.
It's a shame it's only relevant to what's happening like, twice, though.
Btw, my only problem with the video is the game did explain blade combos and other stuff to you, you actually showed a screenshot of the game explaining it too you in this video while talking about it. Also driffting souls is anything but happy lol.

I love XB2, except for the tutorials. I actually forgot all about the tuts until TCG brought it all flooding back in 30 minutes.
To anyone considering this game: It's a good, tropey romp through a weird world, and you will see your last tutorial at approximately level 70.
You will have bosses solely set up for tutorials, and until about 15 hours in, you'll even have a few tuts pop into combat to just say "hi", throw off your mash, and maybe teach you some mechanic that just unlocked. If you mashed it away somehow, RIP, because there's no way to revisit them outside of old Reddit threads. I still enjoyed it, but you have to steel yourself for the tutorial spam.

Actually Foresight is in the game, it's in the affinity tree and increases everyone accuracy and evasion
But in the first game, it's something you actually can do!
That level 75 bird also wanted me dead when I played early game, I came back later at level 75 to give it a good topple/launch/smash combo. They deserved it.

According to Zeke's VA, he didn't know what he was actually voice acting FOR. He didn't even know it was XENOBLADE. This may mean that NOBODY KNEW WHAT GAME THIS WAS EVEN FOR.

Foresight actually DOES have a use in battle: it's one of Mythra's battle skills, increasing your accuracy and evasion when at max affinity. Sure, it isn't quite as they sell it in the cutscenes, but it's still used in battle.

So at the end of the game Pnuema essentially reconstructs her core crystal and it leaves Rex's body. So...why didn't he drop dead? Or...is it the magic of being the true driver of the Aegis?
TheFrostyIcecreamSlush Considering how Rex and Pneuma had the ability to manipulate reality, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that she restored his heart when she severed their connection. Okay, maybe it is a stretch.
The Aegis Core contains the blueprints for all life. The full core, therefore, was enough to heal Rex's heart, letting him live on without needing to be sustained by Pneuma.

No, Klaus' last gift was to disperse the Cloud Sea (and with it the ridge around Alrest), allowing the Titans to rejoin with the land that was there all along.
Hope Xenoblade 3 will be the same good as this game was.
