- The Garmin Xero C1 Pro is an amazing pocket sized chrono about the size of a GoPro on a selfie grip.
Thanks to Garmin for sending this in for review.

Even my son liked the dad joke. I'd say it's a stellar joke!
Ordered this yesterday & the little brown truck brought after dinner. Went out and fired 25 shots and it worked perfectly.
I have one and that thing is just pure magic. 10/10 product.
This thing seems like magic. First time I saw a youtuber testing reloads with it I was blown away. I have been using a magneto speed which is finicky but fine for rifles and some revolvers, but I'd have to do some weird shenanigans to strap it to a suppressor in order to test semi-auto loads, and that created it's own host of problems. Definitely eyeing one of these for the future.
it's fantastic - makes life so much easier.
Hey David glad to see you got one a great review. We got one for our club. It's brilliant for small bore, centrefire ridles n pistols. Great for RO's to check competitors ammo without them becoming intrusive. Great buy all. Get one....
This product works great! I have used one several times and it never missed a shot.
I have one and its super easy to use. Definitely recommend.
I ordered one the week Garmin released it, I believe the day they released it. I paid full price, ordered direct from Garmin and it arrived a few days later. I have used it a lot and I have nothing bad to say about it. Solid 5 months of use and it works great. I wish it came in a pelican style case but I used one of my pelican cases that came with a Trijicon optic and it fits perfectly. This is gonna be hard to beat. I shoot F-open, Ft/r, PRS and USPSA and have found many uses for it. If you are looking for a new chronograph, this is what we've all been waiting for, get one.
Sold my Magnetospeed and True Ballistic for mine. Love it. So easy to use.
My buddy had one out the other day super cool. He was doing tests on his pcc. Very slick product.
I saw this at the range last month. I tried it and it was amazing. Limited use for guys that don’t load, but ultra cool.
It is Super great I have been using it for some days now
I love this thing and I've been using it a ton! I got lucky finding one in stock
Received mine yesterday and love it. Too cold to shoot outside today, so I set it up on a tall camera tripod and shot over it from within the house and through the doorway, with a sling shot and a co2 powered pellet pistol. It read both of them flawlessly. Only issue I have is that when you export it in .CSV format, it doesn't carry over the Title information or the weight of the projectile. It does carry over the notes however. It does time stamp it, but wish it had the date also.
I saw the generic size of this thing and bought one immediately. I haven't used it yet, so I'm glad to hear that it's easy to use. the size of it is why I will end up using it so much more than my old chronograph.
Love mine! Very user friendly
I see you like playing with your unit... 😉
I bought the Garmin. Between Labradars terrible customer service, and the fact it just works in most conditions, I didn't really regret the price. I can easily chrono indoors, outdoors, suppressed or not, pistol rifle. If you're on the fence and have the money its a no brainer
Love the dad jokes being back
Caldwell has a similar item, not quite available yet. I wonder if they all use the same chip or card.
I ordered one right after seeing this video
It has a battery indicator on the top of the screen when you turn it on. And you would be a better influencer if you would drop the music playing while you are talking. It’s like trying to watch a game with someone running a vacuum cleaner. You just want it to stop.
Super cool. Since it has wireless, any idea if it pairs with Practiscore? Running Chrono for a major match, if I could have just hit a button to pull the data it would have been significantly easier. Like the BT Timers (if you've ever had a chance to try those out)
There’s a battery indicator when you power up. I’ve had mine for a couple weeks and it works flawlessly. Can’t shoot as fast as my old screen but the chance of me shooting the Xero is close to zero (see what I did there?).
I bought the Garmin and before I could get to the range, I set it up in my basement and tried it on both a pellet pistol and pellet rifle and it was terrific, it even registered the difference in pellet manufactures.
Here is the problem I have run into, it is very sporadic trying to read my Rock Island 22 TCM. I was trying to compare my reloads to factory loads and it would not register AT ALL. I finally, due to frustration set it up to the rifle setting and it would read some of the rounds but not all of them. I did finally get a couple of readings on factory rounds but I believe it was only 3 out of 10 rounds fired. This was all done on an indoor range if this could have any bearing on my issue.
I have used this on my new S & W 22 Magnum pistol and it was flawless. Any help would be appreciated.
Bud
Looks pretty sweet..
I'll probably get one in a few years when they are seventy dollen
Orion - The most awesome winter constellation. It looks like LabRadar is coming out with a similar form factor device. I'm wondering if the features of their chrono will be similar to the original LabRadar. (Edit) I shot through my buddy's brand-new Garmin Xero C-1 chrono today (02.25.24) and it performed flawlessly! Simple to set up, easy to program, and the interface seems to be quite intuitive.
Got a new rifle I’ll be working loads up with so just ordered one. Was never a fan of my magneto speed hanging off my barrel
Considering the hassle and expense that was involved with exporting a Labradar when they first came out relating to ITAR and their generally overinflated price this is some very welcome competition.
maybe you can do a video comparing the Garmin & LabRadar LX not just on price but also performance & quality.
This is extremely cool. I need something to check load velocities and I too have shot a chronograph to death…
Best part of the Zero is there are no trigger attachments like on the Labradar.
It sounds great. It is definitely quite pricey.
How is it with several other shooting lanes active and in close proximity?
Not great
Hi Is Garmin Xero C1 Pro able for 308 win and anothers calibers as 300 win mag? Thank you very much
It can chronograph anything that moves between 100 FPS - 5,000 FPS. So everything from a 300 - 400 FPS BB gun to 50 BMG at 3,000 FPS. That’s absolute yes that it can chronograph 308 and 300 Win Mag.
👍
Can I buy your old chrono?? :)
Plus one for YT
Patrick has forgiven you. And you’re welcome.
no sir - you are welcome.
That dad joke was outta this world.
Ops rifles... 😊
Can you print from the app?
If you screen shot and print the image potentially but I don’t think you can natively
You can export from app as CSV and print I suppose
3 starts. lol
*Garmin sure does only consider certain influencers worth getting product.*
_Indictment of Garmin, not you._
For 6 bills I’ll keep my existing chrono.
Naah, for 600 bucks ,I'm sticking to my chronny and spend money on primers :)
too expensive for my blood. i will wait for the chinese copy to come out
Lets start a "shill" train. 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂
Chugga-chugga chugga-chugga
What?
I am not allowed to like things - only shill
What a shill...
It do be like that sometimes.
@@TheHumbleMarksman Honestly, it looks really cool.
