They should fit as long as you got a pair of laces that have the same tip as the original ones. Try pulling on the other ones to make them thinner and setting them to the side at the same time you’re pulling. That should leave you with enough space to insert the new laces.

How to improve the tongue issue in the shoe ? Should I cut it so the laces to go around it
I don’t think you should cut it. But maybe giving it a couple hand stitches at the bottom of the tongue will fix the issue
