As a resident of west bengal i can say each and every sector here is rotten, be it medical or education or construction, any government job ,transport...each and every thing, corruption is at its peak, people should not forget how many crores were found in some of the ministers' residences, and there is the heinous crimes against women, where the cm of the state ,who herself is a woman victim blaming is her first line of defence,protestors are marked as opposition parties, calls it 'staged incidents ' 'boys have done a little mischief ' so and so,and she has just made the police force as her puppet who has just lost their backbone.
Even after these huge corruptions how she came back to power is a mystery. The Lakshmi'r Bhandar thing- if the entire state is in this much debt how just before election the amount increased to rs. 1000 from 500, where is this money coming from?How did she announce to give rs 85k to the clubs to do durga puja ?God knows. Or maybe why sandip roy the principal of R.G Kar who was provided with such a security and 'love' from the government can shed a little light on that.
