Ordered it from my library. Then the Florida shooting happened and they called and said it arrived the next day. Crazy
I have been reading his book, very good book. Chilling and sad, but good. Hopefully someday I can meet him and have him sign it.
If you liked his book, I highly recommend you read Dreamseller by Brandon Novak (his autobiography). It's an incredible book about a tragic youth that was a pro-skater and got hooked on heroin and lived life as a junkie in the streets of Baltimore. Their are so many common themes between the two books, and they take place simultaneously in two separate places in the US.
all due respect ( and i've read both books), these books actually couldnt be different from one another. novak's story is his story, and his alone. brooks's story is his too - but he is also trying to clear his name and hold people responsible for a massive tragedy, while also remembering the 13 innocent people who died that day.
I seen his interview on Oprah that she did with him and his family a few months after the incident. Glad to see him still being a voice and being the change that we need in this world.

This dude is playing victim kinda ironic since he’s literally the main guy that tormented them before the shooting. He now claims to have been friends with them prior to the shooting in some interviews but he’s literally one of the only (if not the only) ones by name in their philosophy section of the manifesto
